Yes, yes we know.
Narsrim2005-08-19 22:37:28
This is probably one of those situations where the administration will have to step in before the guild crumbles.
Richter2005-08-19 22:38:46
I heard Viravain booted some people/forced them to resign. Is that true, or did something else happen?
Ethelon2005-08-19 22:41:51
From what I'm hearing IC and OOC it is Viravains fault for some of this and just bad timing also. Marsu I think stepped down to run for MArshall, Nyla left because of Yukari and him argueing or something, and Viravain forced Yukari to leave Glomdoring because of recognizing the taint. The problems will be when the people running for GM and GA take their positions, so far the names I've heard in the election are despairing.
Marsu2005-08-19 22:43:39
Yes the names are somewhat troubling....
Richter2005-08-19 22:44:18
That's because we have too few strong leaders in Glomdoring, I'm afraid. I don't really like where this is going at all, heck, I only voted for Marsu for CH because I knew he's been around more than the other guy, whom I really haven't heard anything about.
Stangmar2005-08-19 22:44:59
I don't like Viravain. If she becomes patron of Glom again I will completely hate the commune. Shikari is the whole reason i was starting to like them again.
Narsrim2005-08-19 22:47:04
Personally, I love Viravain. I think she adds an amazing amount of RP flavor to Glomdoring, and it is a shame that people push her instead of work with her.

Erm, rather poor reason to hate an entire organization of people. I would believe someone is a tad bitter, but who knows.

Someone get rid of this post please, I have no place to speak about Glomdoring things tongue.gif

Sorry! Its just that so few of us know the other dude, and I hear about you all the time. happy.gif

My only problem with Viravain right now is that from what I've heard, She's not really very nice to leaders. I can understand that sometimes leaders seem to be total idiots and it's appropriate in some cases (especially Viravain's) to be a bit mean to everyone, but Glomdoring is doing bad enough getting and retaining good leaders as is without her chasing them away or making them mad at Her.
Richter2005-08-19 22:57:26
Yeah, -much- different from Shikari's calm, helpful, encouraging attitude.
Ethelon2005-08-19 23:00:44
The Treeripper family was actually thinking about coming out and admitting Glomdoring is tainted to the Public. Something to embrace it and hope it draws more people to use... but now not sure... since Viravain thinks she has to force people out of the commune if they think that way.
Jasper2005-08-19 23:04:41
But doesn't that destroy the very foundation of which Glomdoring's roleplay was created? That it believes it is not tainted? Crow believes it is not tainted because He supposedly does not see it. Night should deny it is not tainted because She does not want to be killed by Viravain.
Ethelon2005-08-19 23:07:08
To accept the taint, many of us believe, would be better for Glomdoring in the long run. This refusing to see it is breaking the commune apart... as this post is proof of.
Richter2005-08-19 23:07:10
I still swear I'm not tainted, IC and OOC. sad.gif

But that opens a huge debate.

Looks like you've gotta follow Viravain's lead right now, or you get nerfed. I love having a non-snuggly goddess.
Daevos2005-08-19 23:08:36
The only one who doesn't see the taint is Viravain. Unless Crow has stated the same as well, I wouldn't know since I'm not that involved in Glomdoring.
