Yeah, apparently teaching now consists of pointing a single help file out.

to me the name of the novice you teach, i mean it.

You were told by 5 different people to report to me who you teach; including our former Patron. Teaching doesn't consist of telling a newly arrived novice, "Dude, here's this thing here. Just read it." Teaching, as we put it very nicely for you, consists of telling them everything they need to know. I don't care if they're a alt character. Go through it with them. And if I can't get names of people who're teaching novices, it makes my job that much more difficult to find all the novices myself and ask them who taught them. When most of them won't remember.
And if you don't like that, then leave. Abide by our rules or leave. Simple as that.
Capisca?

Very good question, Skyla.
Edit: That might be interesting too, Sobran. Though what would be more amuses would be to see you actually try to carry through with the threat.

I think, a lot of the Serens who criticize Glomdoring's RP, should spend a significant amount of time there, understanding the political and cultural structure, before they simply flame how Glom RPs. And I don't mean creating an alt who doesn't spend much time there, and probably isn't privy to much of the upper level info.
I don't really think there would be a problem about Glomdoring turning into Little Magnagora, if Glomdoring had been strong enough to hold their own, and build their own identity early on. Viravain's stance on the taint took a lot of Glomdoring aback, and there was a lot of internal conflict, so Glomdoring's playerbase was torn apart into many different factions with many different opinions. Not to mention, Viravain ruled with fear. Because of that, Glomdoring was weak, and was forced to turn to Magnagora for help. Despite what a lot of Serens think, a lot of Glomdoring did NOT want our help at first, precisely because they did not want to become Little Magnagora.
While I agree Viravain's RP was a fresh look on things, it wasn't what a lot of the Glom playerbase expected, or wanted, especially since a lot of them came from other organizations with pre-existing concepts of the taint, and the belief that it is real. They believed in GLOMDORING, not VIRAVAIN. Hence the chaos. Glomdoring has always been in their consciousness, Viravain has not. Therefore the concept that Glomdoring=Viravain=Glomdoring just didn't jive with a lot of people. That tore Glomdoring down before it even got off the ground.

He did leave, remember? Begged Arilyon to take his place and left once the election started. Coming back doesn't count. He could have -waited- until someone else contested Nayl, given the only others in the election are Elbryan and myself, I highly doubt waiting would have hurt his chances.

As much as I've begun to see how information given out on the forums can hurt things recently, members of a contesting election are not one of them, given that ANY alt can find that out within 30 seconds, it's pretty much impossible to keep it secret. (Plus I forgot to click add reply so I would have posted before you, )

Not at all. We're just cruel, heartless, sadistic, and merciless people. Magnagorans is like the evil brady bunch of the basin. We're the weird cult people who sacrifice new born children to pagan gods.

No
We give them military aid, nothing more. We do not impose our ideals and our culture on them, and neither would they accept, if we tried to.
By that logic, Celest is Little Serenwilde, City Version.
You also missed the point of my post.
There wouldn't be this sort of argument, about Glom being Little Mag, if Glom had been strong enough in the beginning to establish their own identity without needing for us to help protect them from the Evil Untainted Forestals.
