I dislike the bar/restaurant thing, but the rest of it looks nifty.

Just ouf of curiosity, what's the difference between a bar/restaurant and a shop you own that you stock with food/drinks? You can even title your shop "Inn" or "Cafe" or "Bar".
Note also that in Lusternia all items are player crafted/created.

I wondered that too, until I decided that perhaps he was going for a cheaper price in exchange for only being able to stock certain items, in this case food or drink.

Aetolia's housing bars and restaurants predate their cooking skill considerably. It was the only way to do it at the time. There's still no way to make beverages there even for cooks. I don't see anything in their bar/restaurant thing that Lusternia can benefit from.
The owner didn't even get the proceeds and had to buy stuff even in his own house. All it did was save a trip to the CLI, and maybe let you have a different selection.

Still think the ability to write and edit clanhelps is even more important as an investible property.

They also have projects active in clans, and project creation/reading/editing is investible. I think these two things (clanhelps and projects) would make clans VASTLY more useful as organizational tools than they currently are.
Oh, and you can invest being able to write to the log, too, IIRC. Writing to the log would be great for clans.

From another thread it sounds like these both finally happened. We need to pay Richter to make requests for us.
Richter2005-08-22 17:00:51
Lisaera said that it wasn't because of me, but I'd like to think so anyway.
And how about a revised idea for the stores:
Restaraunt miniature- 250 credits
Lets you set up a store, capable of holding up to ten kinds of food or drink.

I don't like the idea of Arti-enchantments, but Arti-Jewelry would work.... like Arti-vials, they hold Double the normal enchantments, and never decay... Thoughts?
Richter2005-08-22 17:52:19
We can already make jewelry non-decay, costs 50cr. But special arti jewelry that can hold double charges or something would be neat, maybe. *shrug*
