What is not serious about this plan. The decay of a warriors NORMAL weapons is enevitable. If it happens in the middle of a battle due to irresponsibility in checking your weapons, then they are gone and you are dead. It helps to be able to fight with fists. I doubt you can a sword in the heat of village influencing.

I am not saying I don't check my weapons. Some people are too busy to check them. If you are talking to someone about something important, the last thing you want to do is chack your weapons.

Luqrid, in this world, most things decay after a period of many real life days, I'd say weapons would probably be on the order of 50 days or so. As long as you check your items once, you'll know approximately when they decay.

There is no random chance of it happening, its very deterministic.

And yes, warriors are fine... you'll find they are the best in combat (as they should be) in Lusternia.
