I forgot where I should bash when I'm out of Newton Caverns. I know that when you're at about level 30 something, that you can bash at the Spectre Islands, but what do you inbetween that? Could someone help me? Please!!??

There's a new place for just out of Newton people, called the Toronada Tidal Flats. Try there.

It's a bit hard though. If you have trouble there, try stoats in the Grey Moors, rockeaters in the mountains, and sand cobras in the skarsh desert.
EDIT: And by a bit hard, I mean things there break your legs, there are some aggressive sand crabs which rather hurt, and a lot of things make you deaf which I found friggen annoying when I was there with my newbie alt.

Do NOT go to the Tideal Flats. Although they are advertised as being newbie friendly, they're full of tough aggro denizens that deal high damage for people in their 20's and break legs.
If you're a Glomdoring or Magnagoran, the Shallach Ruins are good from level 21 to 50. Rockeaters are also a good bet, as are pilgrims, commodity quests, and power quests.
Remember to get some health vials and learn how to utilize circle/pentagram, as bashing starts to get tougher after Newton.

That isn't entirely true - I bashed there with a serenguard alt from 21-30. The only aggro crabs are the ones you dig up - the trick is NOT to dig. Focus on seagulls - they aren't that hard, and they only deal deafness. But yes, you need mending and health potions, or you're going to die. The place seems to be designed for alts who know some basics Or as a place to learn to cure.

Mugwump/faeling + circle/pent = bash anything you like that doesn't break shields and attacks relatively slowly (if you can tank one attack from it, you're good).
I killed ravenwoods and thorn beasts in Glomdoring at 21 for about 10% each and didn't get hit once.

I love the Flats, though I think it would be very bad for a low level novice to go there.
I hate those freaking crabs. I almost had to get Geb to come rescue me, because I didn't know that you could dig them up and it just started breaking my legs.
so embaressing to get owned by a newbie mob..

OOo dig them up.. I am so there.
Thought my Alt, at leavel 40 keeps getting owned there. But she can however hit and shield before it(crabs) has time to hit her.

My alt hunted there at level 15...nothing is better than a Mugwump cosmicfire/shield tactic.

There is NO reason to dig those up Quahog is a filty liar. You can find clams lying around the beach
Veonira2005-08-21 17:51:29
Well you have to dig them up to get enough, if you're in a hurry.

True, but it's not worth it for newbies, since it makes agressive crabs wander the flats.

I suggest merian childs in one of the Arysian Isles. They're not tough.
Veonira2005-08-22 05:53:22
But by the by, my favorite hunting grounds for those awkward in-between stages were the highways (pilgrims and cows) and Glomdoring (spiders, deer, loamadores, ravenwood trees, spores ONLY if you can kill them in one hit, which you should be able to unless you're a warrior).
Terenas2005-08-22 07:39:13
I just influence and hunt Water from level 20 to 50.
Unknown2005-08-29 02:22:09
does anyone know where a level 40 aslaran could bash at other than rockeaters cows, or helping pilgrims?
Ashteru2005-08-29 02:31:53
You could hunt spectres, I think. Or you could try Krokani, though I am not sure.
