I dont remeber when exacly it has happened. I loged in checked rankings xp and it was mess in there, it was something likke this, its from memory not from log



I noticed that by Narsrim name rank wasnt showed and i was on 19th place, same as i logged out but my rank rise to 5th Rank.
When i think about it now i was seeing Ixion rank cose i alredy was on same level as he, but couldnt see Narsrim rank cose he was/is higher level then 86, but he still was on place before getting free exp, like my plce in rankings were in normal just 5th rank wasnt normal should be 2nd Circle.

And after chekcing this rankings and when i saw this mess, i checcked score and there was level 86.88%. @ levels more then i was earlier. As soon as i noticed it i bugged it. A bit later i told about this to Lacostian and Hajamin as i saw them in game. After checking messages and posts i loged out. When i come back later i still had free exp but rankings xp was looking normal, just like i would normally get this level 88. I saw narsrim and told him about it as i saw that he skyrocked in rankings also. After this Narsrim haev opened this topic i think.

I have no idea what my last command was. I was sanctifying Hajamin's shrine on Celestia, (Narsrim have done it too) and afer that i logged of on Celestia.

That would be all.

I don't remember doing anything special. I had bashed a bit prior to leaving in the Catacombs (I think), I logged out and when I logged on, I was suddenly higher leveled. It didn't happen while I was logged on.

I was 13th before they both shot up 2-3 levels. Pretty wierd that it targetted you both and no one else.

That's something that is strange about the situation. There was nothing that I did with Ekard... we didn't bash at the same time or even see each other face-to-face in-character when it happened.

Furthermore, I would assume there are others out there. Ekard and I, however, are just the only ones to report it so far (to my knowledge).

Ekard and Narsrim aren't the only ones affected, but the thing is we can't seem to figure out why it's targetting certain people, as it seems to be entirely random.

Marcalo reported it in this thread, a whole 2%. And there is one other person that hasn't reported it, that might have been hit by this bug.

We are looking into it, but in all honesty this is nowhere near as damaging as the gold bug. Some people save a few hours of bashing is fairly minor compared to the damage that gold did to the economy.

Ofcourse we will track it down, and fix it as soon as possible. Anyone else that thinks they might have been hit by it, please bug it or message me how much, when, what you did last, where, and anything else you can think of.

As for taking back the EXP, it isn't my call, but personally I say we don't give back xp lost to a bug...

I should think everyone hates 2 random people getting a free ride, on the order that you did. I sure know Kharvik, Melan, and Kaervas would simply love to have just one (1) extra level.

Edit2: Yeah, edit 1 was definately a joke. We all know Narsrim did nothing wrong, nor anyone else. I'll say no more on the matter.

As Lisaera has said, it goes beyond two people. However, I was rather disappointed during the first day of Lusternia when some people got a free 100 some credits... oh well, life goes on.

100cr is nothing compared to weeks of your life. This is your life, and it's ending one second at a time.

Yeah, that is like a free 2-3 weeks of solid bashing in exp. Really annoying to see people getting this for free, but whatever it is the admins call.

Wait wait wait... someone hopped from level 85 to level 88 due to a bug, and he's allowed to keep them? I hope I'm understanding this wrong? I need to bash more than a real month for that kind of experience, what on earth is the justification for this?

Marcalo is NOT in My Order. Kharvik did jump up pretty fast, perhaps he was hit by it(and didn't notice). It's not limited to just one person, and will be fixed in time.

Both Narsrim and Ekard know exactly what percentage they were when they jumped the levels, why fix it "in time"?

I doubt Hajamin did any foul play on his part, however, comparing 2% to 3 levels in the high 80s is not a fair comparison. Marcalo could have gotten those 2% from a Favour wearing off, but you can't gain 3 levels from that.

I don't doubt it happened due to a bug, but not fixing what can be fixed, i.e. restoring the bugged experience, would be kind of weird wouldn't it?

Just imagine, if Kaervas would suddenly jump from 95 to 98 due to a bug, or Murphy would hop to 93 out of the blue, and Fain told you all they'd get to keep it, wouldn't the world scream foul so hard you'd have to cover your ears? The experience from 85 to 88 is a massive amount.

As far as I am concerned, the world is already screaming foul, which irritates me as a player because so far as I know, I did nothing wrong. If Estarra feels it is best to remove the levels, I'll go on. If I get to keep them, I have some wicked dumb luck. However, I wish people would quit trying to manipulate the decision to be made. I'm going to have to deal with it regardless of whatever it is. It time everyone else starts to deal with it.
