Is anyone else growing rapidly bored with their characters/positions/whatever?
Of course, it might just be Celest I'm growing bored with. (stupid Celest - can't see Shamarah joining another city/commune at any point though...)
I'll probably start up an alt, but I hate to see all the skills on Shamarah go to waste. Any thoughts on un-boreding myself?

You could wri... no, I'm doing that.
I don't know.. you could do something extremely weird like.. meld all of Celest and call it a Pool Party. On a serious note though.. maybe you just need some casual roleplay. Are people being talkative and spurring up things or is it just the same ol' job you've been doing for awhile?
Maybe people just need more socialization.

You could say the angels are taking over your life. Or whatever you call your shiny things on Celestia. And then in an attempt to escape you could run to Serenwilde.
That's assuming you can't see the character having the desire to leave, not that you as a player don't want to go elsewhere.
On the other hand, Hendrix is right. Just start talking to people on a more regular basis. Have discussions on philosophical ramifications of eating leeches alive.

Yes, it's boring.
Being Celestian is.
It's largely due to the fact that we just get ground into the dirt over and over and over and over and over and over and over..

I haven't been here for, like, any of the villages in the last two rounds of village influencing. It's annoying the crap out of me.

Join Glomdoring!
That'll chase away the boredom.

(Note that thorgals advice will likely result in both severe depression and thoughts of suicide, both as a character (because your ass is constantly being raped) and as a player.

Start converting Magnagora with angelic visions and dreams of holy Supernals. Although, they might know how to fight that.

Just pull a series of Guidos.
Every time you start to get comfortable in a position, do something totally ape**** that takes you in an entirely new direction.
Making lots of new friends? Rob the Nexus!
Steadily advancing in your guild? Attempt to start a civil war between the Demon Lords!
It's easy, fun, and keeps things very interesting.
You may, however, lose excessive numbers of levels in the process.

I assume that was a joke about "running" for Prince...?

Different words, must be a dialect thing.

Oh, and Guido, you bastard. You nearly got me booted for giving you a lift up that time. One of the few times it wasn't my fault. Whore.

If your not happy where you are, take a break for a week or so, and come back, and ask yourself where you would have the most fun.
Not where you -should- go, not where anyone wants you to.
Lusternia, at it's core, which many people seem to forget, is a game, and it's their for your enjoyment.
Do so.

Seeing Shamarah leave (again) will make me sad A lot of people have felt this, and it's obvious looking at our numbers and how many of our valuable citizens have deserted us. Sometimes, it will feel too much, too much fighting, conflict, etc. Sometimes it will feel too little, and other times it feels just right. Why won't you take up tailoring again (you can lease another shop or share one if you ask around/ask me), or... I would suggest trying to help Celest in combat but it's not very easy right now. OOOR you can make another ritual! Heheh playing an alt can be amusing too, you know, see what the other side is like, making new friends, gaining a whole new perception on the world of Lusternia. But in the end, it's your choice. *twiddle*
