I am addicted to perfume. Some women go to town for shoes, some for jewelry...I buy perfume. The link in my signature has actually corrupted a whole credit card by itself.

I am addicted to coca-cola also, and once a month I eat at least half a small jar of green olives. After that though, I beat myself up at the gym for all the badness I put in my body.

Oh, and destroying pens. I just chew them, even the metal ones go eventually. I go through an average of one a day, even when I'm not writing. Oh, and coke.

Napkins. I have to have one on me all the time.

To eat?

Metaphysical art/poetry. Antique furniture. Anything 'gothic', even though I am not what you'd call a typical 'goth'. Music. I think I have close to 15 000 songs over all my harddrives.

That reminds me of another wierd that about me (although I don't know if it would be called an addiction)...moist towelettes! I bring a couple with me everywhere I go, never know when you're going to need them I really hate having my hands sticky or dirty. They're clean and have that lemony-fresh scent ...

Chewing Gum!!!! I swear, I'm more addicted to Chewing Gum then any smoker is to cigarettes... I would walk 5 miles with no shoes for one stick if I was out... My brand: Extra Polar Ice.... I think I'll have another stick right now

I feel like I'm more "addicted" per say to cigarettes now that I've quit. I'm always thinking about smoking... otherwise, mountain dew and buffalo wings... I need to get out and exercise before I get fat...

It's sad... I've lost the caffeine bounce... I'm so addicted that I have to have caffeine or I'm incapable of functioning. Normal waking mode has become the caffiene-induced state. Though I did get the caffeine bounce last weekend. Double-shot espresso, four mountain dews, and an energy drink... is that sad or what.

Books... my shelves are overflowing with books and there's boxes upstairs full of them. Someday I will start collecting originals but for now it's just books to read.

Smashed pennies... everywhere I go, if I see those smashing penny machines, I have to get one. I have like 72 of the things.

New items... nothing makes me happier than buying new things. They can be enjoyable or just something I want. For instance, today is a French theme day at work. Most people on discovering that they can't find a black beret on short notice would give up. Instead I went and bought a pink one and dyed it black and it actually worked really well but it was a nice $40 gamble that it would. However, the point is that the hat made me really happy when I had it in the sack. The effects tend to wear off after a few hours though.

Is it the coca-cola or the olives that you're covering with the perfume? Or the jar I guess? Perfumed jar?

I am addicted to Starcraft (anyone who's on the IRC channel knows about that). I just recently finished a 4-hour game (which I lost) but I still feel compelled to play. I can CONTROL my addiction though (unlike that dude in Korea who died while playing 39 hours straight). I eat, drink, get up once in awhile to make sure my limbs don't "fall asleep", etc.

Recently this summer, I did go a straight 3 days on the computer playing Starcraft almost non-stop (except doing the things I listed above), and that's my longest run so far.

And I still suck at it, how sad.

hrm I´m addicted to books, I think I have less then Raezon but I´m also younger so I still have time to catch up. I´m especially addicted to Robert Jordan´s wheel of time and Douglas Adams (everything of Adams is good)

Ofcourse I´m also addicted to Lusternia, the game made me an insomniac

And lastly I´m addicted to alcoholgel, you know that stuff you have to decontaminate your hands with when you are a nurse, when I don´t use it for more then 2 hours I start rubbing my hands uncomfortably
