Astral mobs are worth between about 600 and somewhere over 2k essence. I read the WHOLE listofferings for Auseklis one day, and wrote down what everything was worth. *cringe* never again.

From the hundreds of pages of logs that I've read, Astral mobs have never exceeded 2k. Very very rarely do they get to near 1600.
