I'm so dreading those 15 page research papers I'll have to do to be an English major... I think my longest paper was around.. 7 pages.. so far.

If you don't wait like a certain person did ( ) then it shouldn't take you long at all. I love to write so this might not apply to everyone, but I just casually wrote mine in two sessions since you're like.. forced to use references and can just quote a lot and expound on it.

But seriously, most of the time you know what your work will be before you get it so it shouldn't be a big issue. As long as you start a week ahead (Or more if they ask for your thesis and such a month prior to the due date) then it should be fine. Most professors I've dealt with kind of force you to do it over time via assignments so if you want your grade you'll do the work.

Thankfully you only have one big paper most of the time.
