With my system, feel free to msg me IC or email me and I'll help you set up aliases and scripts however you need them.

Jillian2006-10-14 19:04:23
Is there a way to disable the autosipper when you don't want to use it without disabling all the other scripts?
Diamondais2006-10-14 19:14:50
AH OFF - turns it off

AN ON - turns in on.

I got a small problem which I think was caused by the system, I wanted to learn 4 lessons in combat to get weaponprobe, and it learned another 15 lessons (which are kinda a waste) after I was done. Any way I can kill this feature because I don't really want that to happen again blink.gif

Edit: Threw out all the triggers that triggered on lesson and learn, still feeling kinda meh about losing 15 lessons. Would kinda like to know the reason why these triggers were there in the first place as well sad.gif
Karrack2006-10-15 22:01:32
in the future just run out of the room to cancel the lessons being spent
Jillian2006-10-16 01:56:34
Solved it by throwing out the triggers for now. Got explained why the auto reactivating is there now. Guess I should just find out what things do before I use them. Great system otherwise though, really helps a clueless noob like me out wub.gif

might also be the right time to study how they make the triggers, I had no idea how they work when I first got it but after a bit of tinkering and some help from the owner himself, manage to heavily (I do mean HEAVILY) modify this system to my liking happy.gif

can anyone help me with this real quick?

it used to be whenever i killed something a trigger would automatically pick up the corpse.
today, for no reason other than to annoy me, it stopped doing this.

can anyone explain or offer a solution?

go find the variable "pickupcheck", make sure it's 0.

usually it's mostly conflicts between some few triggers, go search for the line "you have slain" in the trigger section and check the scripts, look for the script "Sub Pickup" then go look for the variabel "pickupcheck".

That's all I can say. Good luck.

Modifying the script for acrobatics
I want to change the fallen check slightly to try use my spring up command first, then do a second attempt when I recover equilibrium. Help? (As a side note, I'd also appreciate a bit on how whatever I am supposed to do works, so I can try to figure it out on my own next time)
Many thanks!

Edit: I did change the send in the script to springup. Not THAT clueless tongue.gif

I think I managed to break it or find a bug. When I type pipelist it removes all herbs from the rift for each pipe, so in the end it removes 3 fae, 3 colt and 3 myrtle. When logging out you drop 2 of each herb due to the system thinking it only took 1 herb of each and put it into the pipes. I fixed it by doing "inr all myrtle" on exit for example, but I'd like to find out why it takes all herbs from the rift each time it tries to fill a pipe. I've set up the pipes correctly before starting, so that's not where the problem lies.

Also, minor other problem, when logging out the puff count on coltpipe doesn't get reset to 1 but stays on 10. This is fixed when logging in because the info bar gets rebuild again then, but it would be nice if all the counters got set to 1 when logging out tongue.gif

Still bugged, can't figure out why it's doing what it's doing...for some reason it also likes to start triggering the filling of pipes in the middle of putting my defenses up. I tried with a clean install of the system and it's bugged there too. Help? mellow.gif

Just get rid of the empty pipes on logout subroutine. It's worthless, have it put your pipes in your pack instead. That will solve all your problems.

Note: have it do

send "put pipe in pack"
send "put pipe in pack"
send "put pipe in pack"

instead of

send "put 3 pipe in pack"

because the former does not use balance whereas the latter does.

Bug eliminated.

Now, for explanations: the subroutine to refill your pipes triggers every rebalance or requilibrate. You rebalance when deffing up, but it seems you can't refill a pipe off-balance, but deffing up immediately pops you offbalance which happens before you can pipelist and refill, so it doesn't work. Thus, your pipe is still empty, as shown in pipelist, so the system attempts to refil your pipe, but it can't because you're offbalance again, and it doesn't inr your herbs because it just doesn't.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

I'm a zMUD user and i decided to try MUSH out so i grabbed this system to do so, i'm a bit in love with the client wub.gif but i'm trying to figure out one thing, i use a white background and the prompt has a colour attribute making it black/green, which for me is ugly. The same effect was on score but i found those easy enough to disable, i can't seem to find the trigger the formatting is attached to for the prompt though, help?

It's the big ugly one.

^(\\d+)h\\, (\\d+)m\\, (\\d+)e\\, (\\d+)p\\, (\\d+)en\\, (\\d+)w\\ (.*)\\-

There's two of those, and yours may actually be a bit shorter. I modified mine for CONFIG PROMPT FULL.

^(\\d+)h\\, (\\d+)m\\, (\\d+)e\\(.*)\\-

Ah thur we go, thanks.

I have one or two more questions because i just downgraded to utter noob in terms of understanding my client.

Seriously, here it comes..

What's the syntax to access a variable (i.e @target in zMUD). Obviously i've tried @ already and it just sends the command to the MUD instead of processing it like zMUD would.

..actually i think that's all.
