To be honest, how does one behead with rapiers? It shouldn't be possible. I'd prefer it if we'd have to switch to broadswords in order to pull off behead, as warriors.

Cudgels aren't blunt. They are sharp as a mastework sword.

You'd have to have an edged rapier, and be really really strong.

I know that we don't want to copy features from other ire games I still like the different deathsight/deathsense messages in Imperian.

'Blah has been slain by the might of Blub' is rather boring but something like 'Blah has been crushed to death by the magics of Blub' would sound much more interesting if Blub would have been a Geomancer using chasm.

Maybe, if the Divine here would like, the players could come up with a lot of different deathsense/deathsight messages depending on the skill or ability that killed the victim.

Its already magical enough to know that someone was killed, we get to know how as well? O_o

Good idea, Niara. If coming up with the kill messages is a drain on time, I'm sure players would be happy to provide.

Malicia is envelopped in a whirlwind of red light. She pulls out a walkie talkie, shouts a few words and a hugeass spaceship appears overhead before unleashing about a bajillion missiles.

Eyes narrowed dangerously, Laysus raises a clenched fist into the air, and shouts a string of near unintelligible words. Silence falls upon the area, and a quiet rustle is heard as his black cloak unclasps and flies towards a dirty fink, enveloping it completely. The cloak wraps itself tighter and tighter around a dirty fink, and the screams emanating from beneath it subside. Laysus drops his fist and plunges it into the ground, as massive thorn vines shoot up from the soil below. Hundreds of thick vines grab and tear at a dirty fink, who is quickly drawn into the earth with one final scream.

Disturbed by the ruckus, a small acorn falls from the canopy above.

Laysus has been slain by the might of a small acorn.
