Oh yes, because you had SOOOOOOO much trouble killing me in the catacombs the only time I went in there to bash in recent memory. Stop being pathetically whiny, KTHXBYE.
And if you actually knew the Catacombs you would be able to get to the bottom too, because when Magnagora first worked its way down there, all the doors were closed off back then and we somehow managed it, even with you being completely retarded.

Listen up noob, I could have probably summoned you out and killed you. You don't exactly strike me as the most skilled of combatants given you just kinda sit there and die. So ya... it wasn't difficult nor will it ever be.
Asarnil2005-08-27 05:40:16
Oh how I missed that word, its so nice to be called a noob again, almost makes me want to shed a tear. And I just KNOW its so easy to run from someone when you are in the middle of bashing two garshades (both of which are hitting you), without pk defences up and some lamer comes charging in spamming aeon.
And its amazing how your opinion of me has changed just because I haven't been anywhere near as active in combat lately, considering I used to fight you for extended periods of time, never needing to leave the room once, until you managed to scrape together a kill on me when I made one mistake in Angkrag, especially when I distinctly remember you whining about me getting you to over 1k bleeding on these very forums.
EDIT: Watch the language and personal attacks.

The problem with high-level hunting areas on prime is that you cannot conglutinate.

And the advantage is that Avechna pays attention. But Avechna protects everyone, not just people with trans Planar. Frankly, I don't think this lack of conglutinate is really a big downside.
Anyway, I just suggested on-Prime because it'd make more sense, the communes being more attached to Prime while the cities are more off-plane, or at least that's what the cities tell everyone when they explain why they should have sole rights to everything beyond Ethereal. But it could be off-Prime too, so long as there was one.

Hmm, good point. As always.
Sylphas2005-08-27 13:08:31
People have seriously gotten addicted to conglutination, it seems. Suck it up like the other IRE players do and rely on vitae.
Narsrim2005-08-27 13:17:01
Good news! The Catacombs is fixed.

And yet you post threads about people killing non-combatants on a regular basis, and how horrible the is. I can't wait for the day you finally acknowledge that you are a griefer and stop labelling everyone else with the title. I will agree that Mag has its problem kids who kill people for no reason, but congrats my friend, you are now the Serenwildes childish player. I can see now you will post 200,000 reasons about why you do it, but yet will still post to counter others who do the exact same thing. Hopefully everyone will learn to just discount whatever you say from now on...as I will start doing from this point on...

That Merian city existed outside of the Basin, so no.
And the Soulless weren't found in the soil, some were sealed into the earth. Hence the original druids/wiccans having to heal the Fae. Either way, that place also exists outside the Basin.

guadaguchi and dairuchi are outside of the basin, too.

No, they are still part of the basin, just out of sunc with the rest of time/existence.
Those other places are literally outside of the basin, off in other areas of the world.

Have many people noticed that just south of the Skarch desert i believe is a Sea/Ocean as well as just over the Ranzine and Avechna's Teeth. It'd be nice to see some off plane villages well not villages, areas, like Poly and Ulangi in Achaea. I mean it'd be nice to know that we're not the only survivors out there now, since there was Barl and what not who came around before. There must be others out there somewhere.

I personally would like to see a mini-time travel quest where you could go back in time--becoming isolated from everyone--and visit Shallamar, Earth, and even a bit of Magnagora before the taint came.
I've always wondered what the Shallamar beings were like before they became the classic "demons" or "devils", as well as what untainted earth might have been like.

As far as I would guess from the histories, I'd imagine you could imagine it as Celestia is now but with different 'supernals'
But I'd think that would be fascinating too, I always liked to go 'back in time' in achaea with the monestary and thought it was a interesting thing, being able to do so and visit prior places like the mentioned would be fascinating to interact and talk the denizens and maybe learn more about the past. Who knows, maybe in the far future (assuming it ever happens to begin with) a way could be found into the two cities frozen in time through the past and find a way to free them (or stop their projects that caused them to be trapped in the first place? but then that would leave kethuru still in control of the taint)

I bet untainted Earth was, instead of the Mountains of Madness, very like the Elysian Fields - although that's the feel I got from the Histories over Shallamar, so perhaps that's why.
I bet the Catacombs was a beautiful, complex network of caves, with crystals glowing and humming, shedding enough light about you to see.

Not stop but alter. Add something that will allow to unlock them now. Quite interesting.

I would love to see more areas appear on Lusternia, and more bashing grounds and areas that are connected with the history (like the examples people have been giving)
Unknown2005-08-31 17:38:59
Actually, I think it'd be interesting to have a long quest that allows you to essentially walk the grounds of Hallifax and Gaudiguch, as well as maybe Magnagora, moments before their appropriate demises.
Kind of like the Imperian newbie quest.

Yeah, I was thinking about something neat like that. You go back in time and check HELP CELEST, and it shows the leadership as it was back then, you can go around, look at stuff, etc.
You could also assasinate the princess, and the modern Lusternia would blow up.

Unknown2005-08-31 18:22:46
Pfft. No, but I think it would be interesting to wander around the Elemental plane of Fire, and fight in the last battle with the Aeromancers, or to fight in the Vortex, as they erect the Crucible Formation. Or to be standing in Gaudiguch square as the Ur'Guard army and Ladantine left the surrounding lands.
But I'm wierd like that, and it'd take a lot of coding. Maybe a quest, or an event, or just a bunch of dreams could be made of it. =\\

In reality, it would be just another area, but one you could not travel to by normal means.

the mountains determine the edges of the basin of life, i'm pretty shure. and you must pass through the great pass, which is a break in the mountains, to get to the skarch desert, which contains the village of dairuchi, and the lost city of gaudiguchi.
