My girlfriend just started working with me, she gets three months of training now, in order to have some kind of a sliver of hope of catching up with my insurance knowledge. tongue.gif

Also got a $2000 check from the grandparents, from a college fund that just matured. I'm not in college though, so it's going straight to a new car, once I save some more money. Kind of want to get a blue or green Mazda 3.

There, things you didn't know.

I was forced to walk around my hall in a playboy bunny costume.

Yeah.. I didn't write about me having to hide in my closet from the one openly bi person on my hall. I'm like, "No, don't look at me!" and covering myself as much as I can and she's like, "Just let me give you a hug! I won't hurt you!"

And then the fire alarm went off and I had to run outside in cuff links, bunny ears, and a bow tie.. but I had just enough time to throw a shirt and jeans on.. so yay for that.

I am a geek who is kinda a fan of gymnastics. biggrin.gif Wholly by accident. It was the Olympics (1996? 2000?) and I was enjoying the olympic buzz. It was night and I was flipping through the channels and there underway - the women's team gymnastics final. A gymnast stepped forward to the bar apparatus. In reverent tone, the commentator refer the young woman as 'the Queen of the Bars'. The name flashed in the screen - Svetlana Khorkina. I didn't know what was going on but okay. The gymnast began to do her thing and wow... there was a sheer fluidity in her routine. Then something dramatic happened. The gymnast fell. And my heart fell with her. I knew then I would be a fan of this sport.

But where the women gymnasts are uplifting, the men... I just gawk. How do these guys do it? Crazy. You have to appreciate the physical and mental training demanded to reach the level.

Oddly though when it comes to rhythmic gymnastics, I care less who wins and just enjoy watching. Maybe its the twirly ribbons the gymnasts use... they seem so hypnotic... twirly ribbons... hypnotised.gif laugh.gif

Favourite gymnast - see sig. Also stubborn supporter of the Japanese Men's Team!!! Can’t wait for 08. Yeah to the Olympics!!!!

Tribute to Women Gymnastics - Strength. Grace. Crazy.

PS. I play the harmonica, really badly. Weeeeeeee! laugh.gif

Everytime I leave a place where I've locked a door (home, work, sometimes my car) I have to make myself not go back and double check that I've locked the door, cause I KNOW I did, but I have this instant of "Did I lock the door?" panic that's so strong the urge to go back is almost unbearable. Sometimes I just give in and do it even though I know I locked the door, but most times I'm running late (cause I often am!) so I don't and it bothers me for a good ten minutes of my drive to where ever.

I am the exact same way... I have turned my car around thousands of times sad.gif

Edit! Anyone know if there is a term for that? Panicing over locked doors?

Joli - your floor sounds so much better then mine. They just get drunk and call it a party. It's soooo boring. At least the Zombie walk is comming! Yay for pseudo cosplay!

Incorrect. My girlfriend is. She knows how to tempt people to the dark side. That's why I started to play MUDS in the first place.

I've heard of multiple people who have had a lot of trouble with people breaking into their car until they stopped locking it, and they never had a problem after that. doh.gif
