Well since I posted a pic ( The pic) where you can clearly see this ring.. I figured I'd better say what it is before someone goes OMG JOLI IS TAKEN OOC OMGZ or something along those lines.. 

The ring is something I've been wearing since the day after I turned 16.  I never take it off.. I take baths with it on, ect..  It's supposed to represent the promise to myself that I won't go and up my life like a lot of people my age do.  No drugs, sex, smoking, and usually no drinking.  So far the ring has served it's prurpose and I haven't done anything that I will regret. 

I hope to give it to my daughter/son someday as a real life heirloom, since there seem to be so few of those these days.

I too, see those rings as a challenge......she wouldn't last 5 minutes in a room with the murph!!

Speaking of HST, here's my useless bit of something no-one knows-age - with the exception of Stuck Inside of Mobile (With the Memphis Blues Again) and Mr Tambourine Man, I loathe Bob Dylan. Can't listen to the guy without getting a headache.

Never/20 yrs old (with my fiancée)/never/21 yrs old on those four bits. So far my life isn't screwed up But hell yeah, I totally agree with you on holding off for a long bit, and I was the same when I was in HS. I didn't break number two til I found the person I want to share my life with, and number four when I realized I wasn't afraid of alcoholism anymore, and lo and behold, I'm mature enough to have one or two drinks every once in a blue moon without going overboard . If I would have back in HS, I doubt it, so that promise paid off.

And for the secret sort of thing... I am a penguin fan.  I have not quite 100 penguin figures in my room alone, with a penguin clock, a penguin flag, a penguin CD rack, penguin bathroom decals, penguin piggy bank, penguin chess set, and so on... it's not that special, but it's something.

Oh. I once got surprised by a friend who caught me playing. "You play LUSTERNIA? Awesome!" then after she told me to type score, "YOU BASTARD! GIVE ME MY JEWELRY BACK!" and left. Heh.
