Good thing it won't work on me then.

Then you won't turn your trigs on if you receive the message normally and thus will be subject to the afflicting that Narsrim suggests!
Personally, I would first aeon Kaervas, then hex a pre-drawn peace hex before following it up with anorexia, then the rest of the drawn hexes.

He could have something which only turns his trigs back on at that message if the system has already acknowledged him starting chasm.

And around the time intervals of when he'd receive the next Chasm message, and have the triggers turn off again if he receives the chasm message around the same time as the expected message, etc.

Also note only mages and druid dreamweavers can illusion that, so it's pretty useless as a battle tactic for guardians
Amaru2005-09-01 20:48:37
I was just kidding, we can use Lovers anyway.

This is actually assuming I even bother using chasm except against newbies or if I'm bored and want to waste power.

Who needs chasm when you have a 1.3k staff every 2.7 seconds.
True.
True.

Speaking of hexes, my new favorite hex is peace. It stops chasm. Yay for peace hex... and if you whammy it, they don't know it is going to stop chasm... so you can afflict the crap out of them while they are wtf, chasm isn't working!

Stolen. Might stop them thar pesky warriors for a few seconds. Especially with stupid. Might even get four commands out of them that they don't notice it for.
