You guys are missing the point, but then... as people who don't generally frequent the combat section, it's to be expected. Go away.

There are other, potentially over-powered combinations that require less people Amaru. Barrier + Chasm for instance. Hell, you can pull that off with 1 person. This requires three.

Two Celestines amissio the poor Ur'Guard. Third absolves. Overpowered!

20% + 1000? That sounds avoidable to me. Back to the arts section for you.

Oh yeah, that too.

And there are a lot of ways to stop chasm from going through (or disrupt the mage with a disruption scroll and walk out of the room); however, you cannot stop the example Amaru gave, period.

Many classes have combinations that can royally screw someone over. It's only a matter of preparation, coordination and good execution. That's really what it boils down to IMO.

You are missing the point entirely. This is about a combination where there is no counter, no means to stop it.

For someone with low mana, two amissios are a big issue.
And why arts? I'm totally inept at arts.

And mana is something that you can alter, heal, etc. Knowledge blessing, tosha quest, catacombs quest, etc. Everyone can get decent mana.
Amaru2005-08-29 23:46:15
For someone with low health, 2 newbie kicks are a problem. What the hell is your point? We're talking about something a level 200 DemiGod couldn't escape.
Narsrim2005-08-29 23:46:58
Furthermore, it isn't like timing is all that important given how crucify works and it STUNS. It doesn't take the best coordination to pull it off... it is far easier than vivcripple.
Yrael2005-08-29 23:47:27
So what's your solution? Make it a one person only instakill? An eight power skill thats useless in 1v1 combat (Hell, they regain balance before you when it's used) like that? Screw it, remove Crucify all together and give us blackwind, or gravehands.

I'll leave the combat forums if you promise never, ever to come to Funnies.
Jack2005-08-29 23:48:24
Despite the fact all three of the skills used there are high in their respective skillsets, I'm going to have to agree with Amaru, here. Stuff like absolve and wrack can be increased in effectiveness if you have more people, but they can still be countered or fled from. This is basically instant, unavoidable death.

I've never been sacrificed (at least not in a long time). I know in the last 2 days, I've been crucified over 12 times. If it is so useless when people are not going for sacrifice, why do they keep using it?
Shamarah2005-08-29 23:49:08
This is a good idea to fix the problem:

(Bellator Societas): Terenas says, "I'd prefer that you can only sacrifice if
you're the person that crucified."

flying, burrowing, disruption, scroll, lover's tarot, ing rune...

EDIT: that thing where warriors carry you into another room...whatver its called and probably other things I don't know yet

Order cannibalize mana, toadcurse was unavoidable too as I recall.
One person required.

Because they're retarded. They also want you to perhaps suddenly have a brain hemorrhage (In REAL life) from the humor of it.
