You can amissio and leech!
Unknown2005-08-31 13:00:41
Ahh, so it's only while on a cross. *phew*
Also I take it outrifting is stopped by being webbed/entangled and the like here aswell?

And if I indeed can apply/smoke/eat/drink while webbed, why wouldn't I be able to cure the combo that was suggested before with the anorexia/impatience/paralysis/asthma in different orders? Doesn't make sence to me.
No matter how fast I get hit if they aren't all four at the same time I should be able to cure it if I have the balances required. Unless the cures are all different here and they are all cured by eating something or something like that. If they are indeed different methods used to cure them I could get rid of them all in a instant right? Atleast if they were two by two. I realise I would need focus or something if I got hit with all four before curing.
Yrael2005-08-31 13:06:16
Outrifting? Nerp. Once you learn it in planar, don't think anything can stop it. And because they'd be doublewhammied; which means two masked afflictions for two power. Heh. You'd have to diagnose to see what you were done with.
Unknown2005-08-31 13:37:56
Ahh.. I didn't realise that it masked them. Just figured the skill made you do two at once. Then I get how it could be powerfull.

There is no skill like Tree taattoo here? That will cure a random affliction when used?

Also people have said they started with one skill and then changed. How does this work? How many lessons would you lose? How many times can you change?

There is an elixir that cures a random affliction just like the Tree Tattoo did in Achaea - Allheale, it's called.

It depends on which 'lesson pools' skills are tied to. Healing is Spirit/Willpower, Hexes is Spirit/Willpower, and Astology is Spirit/Mysticism.

When you FORGET a skill, 20% of the lessons you spent are put into that skill's lessonpool. So, if you spent 100 lessons on Hexes, and then forgot it, you would have 80 lessons in the Willpower lessonpool, which you could spend on any Willpower skill, like Healing if you decided to take up healing, or perhaps Discipline.

Now, if you didn't want to take up healing, and didn't want to spend the lessons on another Willpower skill, you could transfer the lessons from the Willpower pool into the 'sibling' lessonpool of Mysticism at a loss of another 20% of the lessons. So, if you transfered those 80 lessons from Willpower to Mysticism, you would have 64 lessons left to spend on Astrology, should you take it up, or Wicca, or Planar.

Should you not want to train any Spirit-based skills at all, instead of using the lessons on Willpower or transfering them to Mysticism, you can transfer them to the parent pool, which is Spirit, at a loss of 30% (so, the 80 Mysticism lessons would go down to 56 Spirit lessons), and from there, you can transfer the skills into any other parent pool for free, and then spend them to learn skills of that pool.

Wow, this seems much more complicated explained like this than it actually is ^^; But HELP LESSONPOOLS explains it all too. *shrugs*

Any kind of outrifting or outbelting is stopped by entanglements and impales, all the basic curing mechanics are identical to Achaea's.

Ah, thanks.

Anyone know if there is a place I could get the lists of abilities for the different skills? Would be fun to see what you got over here.

Posting such publically is very much looked down upon. However, you can often find out such from your guild, as there are people who keep quite detailed lists.... dry.gif

Ahh.. Wasn't aware. Sorry.

Wicca?
Sylphas2005-08-31 17:23:53
Yeah, the skill Moondancers/Shadowdancers use to summon their fae.
Thorgal2005-08-31 17:24:22
Just send me a personal message to get to know my new AIM screenname, send me an IM, and I'll send you full skilllists and ability descriptions.

*shrugs* I sent her a copy of my skill lists, though they aren't 100% complete, and only have Moondancer skills.

I swear I sent them to you already.
Sylphas2005-09-01 02:42:18
I've probably had the lists for everything, but that doesn't mean I saved them. Half are in a text file somewhere and the other half still live as PMs in my inbox.
Unknown2005-09-01 10:36:10
Yeah, I got the lists. I'm loving what I'm seeing. I'm testing some things out with a few alts so that I really find my place here. After that it'll be slaughter and mayhem. And gambling. Can't forget gambling.

And for the record, I'M A GUY!
Yrael2005-09-01 10:45:13
Ooer. A new walking gold sack.
