I have no arties what-so-ever.
I'm not exactly a speed warrior either. Though me and ter are both aslarans, we kinda focus on different things. Terenas is the speed warrior.
edit: well i have 2 arti-pipes

From my experience with blademasters, I always find it easier to fight a strong race with broadswords, than a fast race with rapiers, even though I die to both kinds all the same.
As for blademasters vs bonecrushers, I would say blademasters are superior because of the wide range of crippling afflictions they get for all bodyparts, which is even more lethal when used with Rend.

I don't think it is fair to compare artifact using damage warriors against non-artifact using speed warriors. Can you name one warrior who uses the slower weapons without artifacts that is actually lethal alone against anyone with a moderate amount of competence?
Edit: And also the warriors with slower races.

I am a warrior with a slower race, and I'm pretty lethal with my hammers thank you very much! I can fight just as well with flails or my crappy hammers
Stangmar2005-09-01 03:42:19
i did ok as a brood viscanti, but when the new warrior specializations came out i switched to Krokani for the bonecrusher advantage. I do allright.

I find bonecrushers to be nastier than blademasters in the sense that they are very powerful initially. However, if you can manage to stay alive past their barage of crushes initially, you are probably good to go.
On the other hand, blademasters tend to be relatively easy to handle at first and then become progressively nastier. As a result, I'd say BMs are the better of the two... because it is always better to have the extra umph at the end to get the job done. For example, a haymaker to head after you have your target's head wounded... if you can catch their parry away from their head, you get 4 good attacks to the head... I know this killed me recently in a FFA and Daevos too, I think.

You killed me once as a paladin with burst organs out of luck... or it could have been that you were able to burst/knockdown and follow up with shieldstun whoring as an Aslaran... in any case, blademasters are far nastier in the end when you can damn near permanently keep someone down with sliced tendon or unending rending.
