For example, a haymaker to head after you have your target's head wounded... if you can catch their parry away from their head, you get 4 good attacks to the head... I know this killed me recently in a FFA and Daevos too, I think.

It's not as easy as it seems since if someone moves parry back to head, I'd waste 10 power hitting right into your parry. Not to mention sometimes lag will cause me to haymaker right into rebounding.
But yeah, I love haymaker now, it's actually usable nowaday, instead of being completely worthless like before.

I chose bonecrusher because I liked the idea of smashing things with large, blunt objects. I've never once regretted my choice, and I wouldn't switch to any other specialization for any reason.
I was surprised that Igasho wasn't the race of choice for bonecrusher, though. It seems to me that the largest (and one of the simplest intelligences) would be the ones to use the blunt objects. Blademaster just doesn't suit my race, in my opinion.

Agreed, Z.

I would've thought that Tae'dae would be the specialization for Bonecrushers, but then I thought that maybe they'll become Ackleberrys specialization once, so that might have been a bit overpowered or something.

The weird thing is that I haven't heard anyone being happy about the racial weapon specilisations. While not arguing about whether they make sense or not, how many Igasho blademasters are there? Or Orclach pureblades?
Murphy2005-09-02 02:05:05
i count 0 orclach pureblades, and i count 2 orclach BCs
change the orclach to BC
edit: I know historically orclach has been Pb or whatever, but honestly, i'm making my own historyhere i want my advantage!

Murphy's right!
And brood viscanti should choose to get a weapon specialization depending on whichever race their families were pre-taint.

Furrikin should also be the Seren specialisation race.
I'm making my own history here guys, you have to make allowances.

Ash needs 20 constitution. His ancestors where tainted Igasho who mutated into Mugwump. So, Ash's an Igawump and therefore needs the heightened consitution. Because well...in my history, Lusternia has already gen technic..
Murphy2005-09-02 02:46:10
you gooses, this is a little different than raciel beeefing up of stats. Its a modern historical fact that orclach's are bonecrushers, its not a big upgrade or boost but its just a nice little accuracy thing, plus it'd be nice to know that you can make your own history in the game
