Let everyone use them, please. I want my non-runist to be able to use a runebag (which I assume doesnt work, cause tarot decks dont) and tarot decks.

Just IND/OUTD/INRB/OUTRB/INDC/OUTDC.

Thanks.

Why?
Unknown2005-09-01 02:12:30
Don't know about the rest, but decks is a skill in Tarot. So yeah... why?

Runebags is a skill in runes, same as Dreamcatchers are a skill in dreamweaving as well

But the question as to why is a good one

For Runes, it's nice to be able to store runes where they won't decay, and where you can get at them for statues/totems. Even if you have a bag full of all the runes you need, you often have to find some random novice with Runes to get them out for you. Not sure about the other two.

Bacause I want to be able to store them without them decaying, and I wan't my character to *use* them.
Not like fling, but for other things.
Narsrim2005-09-01 15:12:21
Given that cosmic enchanters can enchant statues with runes but cannot store them in runebags or even remove them from runebag where they are stored, this is a great idea.

Well it is probably nice to have people not be able to get at your tarot cards/runestones (I assume, I don't have either skill). Besides, I was under the impression that decks and bags were magical rift-esque items usable only by people who have the skill...
Acrune2005-09-01 22:04:19
Sounds like a good idea to me. While we're complaining about them, how about we make demension pockets cost less then 12 (I think) reserves to enchant, or at least let them draw power from powerstones. unsure.gif

They are, thats what the person is trying to ask to get changed. Only dreamweavers can use dreamcatchers, tarot users tarot decks, or runists rune bags. Though it is a good point that enchanters use runes when enchanting statues and the like so it would be useful for them to be able to use a runebag at least

Just before I joined Hartstone I enchanted dimension pockets on some belts and a couple of bags. The power came from my powerstones and not from my reserves. I figured it had been a recent fix. Have you tested it lately?

It'll be nice if there was a skill in Arts. I think we can already use papercraft for packs and I think woodcraft for runes. So, we could have a clothcraft for different types of rune/tarot/etc bags. Or allow Tailors to make them.

PS,
Pardon me, if my knowledge of Arts is off, I forgot it in order to learn something else weeks ago.

Well currently enchanters make the runebags/tarot decks/dreamcatchers if they have the parts.

And papercraft lets you make tarot cards, woodcraft lets you make a card deck (which enchanters turn into a tarot deck), and stonecraft lets you make runes

Edit: I believe (correct me if I'm wrong, I'll have to ask my mate since she's the enchanter) that enchanters use silk bags (bought from a store, or made by someone I don't know) to enchant runebags

Edit to my edit.. (yes I need to stop rambling):
Or did you mean rune/tarot/etc.. bags in the sense of a different kind of bag that anyone could put stuff in and take out like store runes for enchanters without having to have knowledge in runes to use a regular runebag?

Yea, just regular bags. So that people without the skill could use them as props for their RP.

I can make you a bag, no problem. And it'll last three days tops.

I asked for something to be done about that, and they said maybe they'd consider making a second type of bag pattern. That was some game years ago now.
Eyod2005-09-04 04:56:31
I suppose making the rift skill in planar let you use
all dimensional pockets could work
Ceres2005-09-04 10:09:29
Good stuff.

Makes no sense for someone not to be able to get something from a bag.
Kayde2005-09-04 14:46:01
Actually as far as runebags go, you can just "put rune in bag" and it'll work. Not sure about taking it out of the bag though. I did this with my enchanter before she had runebags in runes. Maybe they changed it though, have you tried just using PUT RUNE IN BAG/RUNEBAG or get rune from bag/runebag?

Archthron2005-09-04 20:20:06
Nope, doesn't work.
