there should be some sort of ranged class that has the option to choose bettween siege, blackpowder, bows, axes, or daggers. that'd be a really fun skill biggrin.gif
i think it's practicle.
siege would be really hard to work, it'd probably need the help of an artisan or they have to build the things, like how traps work, but the weapons couldn't move or would be really hard to move, and it might require more than one person for certian weapons, and they could fire a long distance and hit for a real lot. might be able to destroy buildings or something and cities/communes would have to rebuild them. this could probably be broken into two specializations, the ones that are like big crossbows(scorpions and such, as well as probably some crossbows for hunting and stuff, not shure what to call them), and catapults(not shure what to call them either) like onagers, catapults, trebuchetes, ect...
blackpowder, a very weakened version of what you said, and not going nearly as advanced as that(probably muzzloading muskets would be the most advanced time wise) this could probably be broken into two specializations, rockets(like chinese) and guns(like early european)
bows, just simply like what that is.
throwing weapons, which would have a specialization in either axes or daggers.
or these could all be some sort of specialization of a ranged class skill, but they're too different i think for that.
it'd be really really fun though! would realy improve city/commune vs. city/commune warfare, as plans would be needed rather than small raids.
eh, it'd never happen. i wish i could make my own IRE game, it'd have no magic and use these skills!

Instead of haymaker, bladedance: You dance around, striking each person in the room, regardless of loyalty, eight times.

Moonshudder:
You bring the moon down to your knees, striking your enemies with metorites anywhere on the plane.

Nightblast:
You banish intended target into a room of eternal darkness until they starve themselves or someone rescues them.

Nilmask:
You summon a mask of Nil, which swallows the intended target if he/she is below half of their endurance.

Lightshadow:
You summon three mirror images of yourself, mirroring every move that you do, while actually doing harm to the target. Causes insomnia, claustrophobia, and blindness.

Heartland:
You link hands with target and die, causing an large area to grow random plants despite where they are associated.

ab planar:
duel
you and selected target move to another plane to duel, with no external forces affecting you.

Dragonsbreath:
You breathe out fire at selected targets at a distance of 3 rooms away.

warmth:
You take targets corpse and cover yourself with it, causing you to have lvl 1 defence against everything.

transmigufire:
You take (#) of stats and can instantly convert it to something else. Lasts until death or one real hour.

Daggerthrow:
You can throw poisoned daggers with blinding accuracy at targets from 3 rooms away.

unless you want to add your 'cool' arena in your home plane(i forgot what it is called because i have been not play alot.. rather often).


it might cost credits to do that.. but.. design your own arena and have people spar in your arena of your own!

Think of it, no external forces, nobody summoning you if something doesn't go your way, nothing of nature coming in to attack you, no gods interrupting it, just a flat plane for you to duel in until death...

Play DragonSummon
CLIMB DRAGON; BREATHE FIRE . SHEAR , TAILSLAM , FLY
Tenebrae plays a lyre with a deep overtone, which builds up in a crescendo.

By playing DragonSummon, you can summon the four elements of Lusternia
into one form of Dragon. You can CLIMB DRAGON to climb ontop of it's back,
controlling it. Due to it's elemental essence, it cannot travel father than cosmic.
It has RESISTANCE to FIRE, ASPHIXATION, FROST, and the Glomie and Serenwilde
attacks. After one month, it will become free, meaning that any citizen or commune
member may try to control it. If none can, it will roam through atherspace, attacking
any ship it sees.
