Mmm. Music. Good stuff. I'm into a bunch of different things. I'll tolerate anything but techno, though too much country can be painful. Silverchair, The Killers, Dashboard Confessional, The Clash, Sex Pistols, Three Doors Down, Three Days Grace, The Ataris, Coldplay, Greenday Flogging Molly , Sum 41 (though they tend to suck more and more these days.. )
Oldies are nice. Of course the list goes on.. though I don't have my mp3 player right now, which sucks..

hmm, lyrics are good but there are good songs that don't have any. A or V (for extreme) on the DDR Extreme Mix are really nice.

Mogwai and Sigur Ros are better for lyricless stuff
Or just plain incomprehensible lyrics.

I'm into the newer kind of rock like Nickleback, 3 Doors Down, Linkin Park.
I also like a little bit of rap like Kanye West and Eminem.

Munsia, download Autumn's Monologue by From Autumn to Ashes. My absolute favorite band. Love them.
Oh yeah.. I've been listening to aussie rap. It's great! Bliss and Eso. I -know- that someone has heard of them.

I've been listening to a nice variety recently.
On my minidisc (which goes everwhere with me) is...
The Damned (mm, eloise)
Iron Maiden
The Sisters of Mercy
Machines of Loving Grace
Corey Hart (*sing* I wear my sunglasses at night, so I can, so I can... watch you weave then breath your story lines...)
Bran Van 3000
Fear Factory
Flogging Molly
Iggy Pop
Pantera
Paula Cole
Pearl Jam
Fluke
Stone Temple Pilots
Lynard Skynard
Tatu (mm, psuedo-lesbian pop music. Does a good cover of How Soon is Now)
The Servant
White Town
A Perfect Circle
and finishes on The Cult.
So yeah... eclectic tastes

Suck more and more? No way, they're the only (well, that I know of) "mainstream" pop-punk (or whatever you call them) to have not kept to the same poppy tunes or changed their music style to suit the popular culture. Their music has been "maturing" over the albums, and their latest, more heavy album is a huge step away from their original stuff. They've taken kind of an anti-sellout route, losing a lot of their huge teenage fanbase simply to make music for the music rather than the $$$.
When me and my friends used to be in that pop-punk stage, listening to bands like blink-182, Simple Plan and Sum 41, that new album wasn't liked by many of us. But now we're listening to a lot more music, and less stuff you see on TV and listen to on the radio, and although we wouldn't listen to Sum 41 much now, we definitely prefer Chuck over their other albums.
I guess I may as well list the current music I listen to at the moment:
88 Fingers Louie, The Adicts, AFI, Against All Authority, Against Me!, Agnostic Front, Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Black Flag, The Bleeders, Blood for Blood, Bouncing Souls, The Bronx, The Casualties, Catch 22, Chocking Victim, Circle Jerks, The Clash, The Code, Common Rider, Crass, Dead Kennedys, Death by Stereo, Descendents, Dillinger Four, The Distillers, Dropkick Murphys, Endless Struggle, Ensign, The Exploited, F-Minus, Face to Face, Frenzal Rhomb, Fugazi, Good Riddance, Guttermouth, H20, Hi-Standard, HorrorPops, Ignite, INDK, Intro5pect, Kid Dynamite, Kill Your Idols, Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, The Lawrence Arms, Leftover Crack, Millencolin, Minor Threat, Misfits, Morning Glory, Much the Same, Nekromantix, No-Cash, No Fun at All, NOFX, None More Black, Only Crime, Operation Ivy, Orange, Pennywise, Pixies, Propagandhi, Pulley, The Rabble, Rage Against the Machine, Raised Fist, Ramones, Rancid, Reel Big Fish, Refused, Rise Against, Roger Miret and the Disasters, Screeching Weasel, Screw 32, Sex Pistols, Sick of It All, Slapshot, Smoke or Fire, Snapcase, Social Distortion, The Soviettes, Stockyard Stoics, Strike Anywhere, Strung Out, Subhumans, Suicide Machines, Sum 41, Thought Riot, Tiger Army, U.S. Bombs, The Unseen, The Vandals, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Warzone, Whatever It Takes, The World/Inferno Friendship Society, Youth Brigade, and Zebrahead.

As if I could left this die when I'm getting in touch with my R&B side.
... and OMG.. I just listened to "Closer" by Maroon 5. You'll want a live version or something (Like uh.. just as I'm typing this actually. The chorus caught me off guard). Downloading random music too..

*beams* I loved Maroon 5! When me and the ex were going through a bunch of stuff I was so tempted to put, "I'm Through With You" on is his voice mail. That song summed up our relationship at that point.
