meh, Ive never heard of those rules before so that shows how long ago I played there. I don't even know what a landmark is.

Pk rules? They're not all that hard. I know half of them, and the only person I've ever killed was a level 5 novice. Also, incidently, was Yrael. *cough*

I remember when Ourania was Elentari, Hashan wasn't so crappy, and Twilight tried to kill us all with a big exploding heart. I was never into the whole PK thing. I only really got any killing done during Thoth's Heart.. But those rules really are insane.. Though I do wish I had been able to use them to get Monkey shrubbed sooner.
And Cyre was cool. He stopped Calhoun from hurting me, one of the time he'd joined Shallam.

In achaea, I once recruited Nimby to help me determine whether or not a victim would gain cause on me for a totem I placed in a public area and tuned for a mark member. He was a great help!

While the file is long, the pk rules are fairly simple. It's the issuers you worry about. One problem I've seen is that most marks wont take contracts on their friends and you have a little guy with no other ic resolutions. So then, they issue.

Basically...


If you defend someone who was jumped by someone who had pk cause to said individual, the attacker then gains cause on you. 1 kill. If he dies, with the defender getting the killing blow. 2 kills. Mmm. (By defending, this could be anything from, handing your friend a vial, herbs, to actually physically attacking the attacker)

If you attack someone without cause- 1 kill. Attack them and kill them, the victim gains 2 kills.

When insulted publicly, victim gains 1 kill to the person who tossed insults.

Org pk makes my head spin. Who gets to kill the offender?!

Those are the only rules there that matter!

Achaea sucked because it was that they kill you kill them back mentality.. and I couldn't kill anyone.

Then there was this one time this guy was stalking me and refused to leave me alone. I asked for help and no one would help. I said something like "Leave me alone you prick" and he killed me for calling him a prick and then the same people I asked for help said I deserved it.
