Yeah, I was at a con all day. Sorry. I'm sad - I was hoping the day would start before I left this morning, but it hadn't and I was in a rush to not miss a game I'd signed up for at the Con. My post, as I had told Ibby last night, was as follows:

QUOTE
Screw this subtlety, bitches. I'm your scrier. Eyod's soulless, just like I said Wesmin was yesterday. Kill the bastard.

Yes, so, I was right every time about who was being suspicious. That's why I convinced everyone NOT to kill Shiri and TO kill Wesmin. I had loads of fun. Eyod - if you're going to claim like that, look back over the posts first. It was obvious I was, or was pretending to be, Lacostian from the first few posts I made. If I was here, I'd have torn your story to shreads biggrin.gif

wub.gif Kalo for the Viravain rules. I fell over laughing when I read them. Awesome work, GMs! I look forward to the next game biggrin.gif

I'll definetly give it a play, It was kind of hard with Shorlen and Shiri as mostly confirmed innocents, but oh well. We got lucky with Shiri not bothering to wait for a claim, ha!

Here's a hint for the Mafia: Find who seems intelligent. Kill them. Problems solved biggrin.gif I'm so utterly surpised I survived the night after my accusations against both Wesmin AND YOU. But I was AFK all day, so it didn't end up actually mattering.

Actually, they did. Narsrim was targetted by both the Soulless and Kethuru. If I was evil, I would've gone after him too. Day 1, he looked the most dangerous out of the good guys.

Also, as a rule, all night actions go through regardless of if the person dies or not. The only thing to stop them would be roleblocks or protection of some sort.

I really meant on the last few days, Narsrim was a perfectly fine choice.

I killed a Scryer Tracker(sort of a differant type of scryer) and the SK, and then Eyod took out your protector, it's not always about whos smartest, it's also about who is in what position in the game.

I've been watching this game (I missed the signup damnit!) and I still don't get all the rules tongue.gif.

it was a bit of a spot the person trying to hide their secret powers, when i was by myself i was torn between Shorlen and Sylphas. In the end I choose Sylphas cause I'm silly.

I noticed this game about half way through... Seems pretty cool acctually, I'd be interested in trying my hand at the Taint Wars version when your done setting it up

PS. The Viravain/Lisaera part was hilarious... I busted up laughing at that

Night 2 Xenthos (Viravain) roleblocks Branwyn Good work…
Night 2 Branwyn (Kethuru) kills Narsrim (roleblocked)

Could I get a little more information about this? I'm confused.

Other than that, I'd love to play again.

You roleblocked Branwyn and she targetted Narsrim. She was roleblocked, but he still died because the Soulless targetted him as well. The only chance he had to live was if he was protected by Sylphas. If both kills had gone through, the death scene would've shown double-kills in some manner.

Viravain cackles insanely, as a wolf-sized bird flutters over-head. Jerking in characteristically rigged movements, Her skin seems to move, as though alive, and of it's own will.

Suddenly, Her skin parts and moves, peeling off from the rest of Her body, moving forward in a stream of inky darkness. Crow has spotted Her target. The immense shadow lurking over another's Place of Power was filled with horror and dread. Perhaps She had chosen well this night.

Cackling madly, She lept into the air, sailing through it like shadows through the Night sky. Swarms of inky blackness followed Her, landing upon Her victim for this night. Millions and millions of tiny, tiny black spiders covered Kethuru, thick strands of webbing soon encasing Him, leaving Him unable to move.

<3 Got it?

Which rules don't you get?
Xenthos2005-09-11 17:23:18
Ahhh! I missed Wesmin going for him. Well, I half-saved Narsrim, does that count? Heh heh.
Unknown2005-09-11 17:37:21
I thought it counted. biggrin.gif

So, pretty much, no one was an "ordinary Elder" without any powers but voting during the day. With so many people able to kill and/or determine whether someone's doing something at night (or both, in some cases?) and outright scry, it's only a wonder that the game didn't end even more quickly!

Definitely interesting. One thing I think, though: claiming should be a calculated risk one chooses to take at some point, not what it seemed to become here ... a requirement to attempt to prove one's innocence. Eh, personal opinion only, perhaps.

Very much liked the story as the choices were played out! clap_1.gif

Actually it can be both, people shouldn't claim until they have to for one reason or another, but should be given the opportunity before being lynched. This is especially true in games where the setup is unknown.
