LLLLYYYYNNNCCCHHHHH.
You all gather 'round Revan, a cold, malevolent gaze in your eyes.
"I swear by Dynara, I'm not a Soulless!"
One among you steps forward, covered in black tattoos, seemingly carved from muscle and raw masculine power. He cleanly draws one of his many weapons, cleaving Revan in two. He gasps and sputters, red drool sliding down from the corner of his lip. Like a large sack of rice or grain, his remains hit the ground with a heavy sound.
One among you cries out, "He was my only known ally, Klangratch, the Axe of War. Fools!"
Shuddering, some worse off than others, even sofar as to be moved to tears, you return to your places of power, hoping to survive the Night.
Night Two
Those of you with Night roles, send your choices to Ibaesha.
(I'm almost 100% certain she said Revan was a Vernal.. Hmm.. She'll post a correction if I'm wrong, undoubtedly!)
Lock the thread until Ibae says otherwise? Thanks!

Creeping slowly through Mother Night's cold veil, the Predator lurked the grounds of the Glomdoring, preparing Himself to return to His place of power. Aah, His searchings were fruitful, and the hunting had gone well. It was not long before He realized, however, that the forest He had come to protect was silent. No sound of maddened crows. No shadows whispered in their madness. No beast of soil or bramble lurched between the trees. Even the spiders seemed absent. All was not well. Suddenly, a roar let across the Forest - no, the Basin - jarring many Elder Gods from peaceful meditation in Their places of power. In one fluid motion, muscles rippling and black tattoos dancing, He pulled free a long halberd, eyes narrowing, gazing into the shadows around Him, which seemed to give way to His sight. A horrid sound rose up from above, screaming insanities and hatred, a beast He had not seen for many, many centuries. But the Predator had once hunted these beasts, and would not go easily. Quickly He danced aside as the bloated and monstrous beast crashed into the forest where He once stood. He slashed out deftly with the halberd, only to find it stick within the skin of this Soulless demon. Surrendering it to the hellion, his hands were quickly filled with a massive battle-axe. Slamming limb-like monstrosities into the ground, the creature lunged, Shikari danced aside once more, only to be knocked off-balance by the pained shudder of the earth.
Quickly He lashed out in a Fury few could rival; His battle-axe sliced through soft flesh and hard flesh, working silently, moving aside as the beast tore up the ground around Him. With a violent upward slash, Shikari soon realized the full length of His enemy, which continued to spew forth insanities and madness even while it hunted the Predator, and for but a moment, perhaps knew the feeling of Terror. In a clean swipe, Shikari's axe was free from His hands - and in but a moment, with the full force of the horrid wretch that Magnora once made Her Handmaiden, it sheared through His neck. With the scent of blood and death in the air, the beast dove upon the injured Elder God, slashing open His chest, tearing apart His body, feasting upon His organs, devouring His flesh and absorbing His essence.
Elsewhere in the Basin, a horrid presence loomed. Dreamweavers shuddered, for all could feel Zenos the Insubstantial, even if It held no form. The beast seemed confused, perhaps distracted - it lurked heavily over the Ballach Swamp, sensing the star-shaped gods, knowing one lurked nearby. And then it felt pain. Pain unlike any It had felt in centuries, pain unlike any It had felt before. It shrieked and cried out, the Basin and the Tapestry itself rocked with it's shrill voice. It was matched with a soft, cold voice - it's intentions quite clear - "Die, Soulless One!" it rang out. Silent cheers came up from the mortals, as the beast fled quickly to the depths of the Sea of Despair. Mortals in Magnagora cried out in agony, being driven deeper into madness by the insanities it screeched, horribly twisting the minds and threads of those whom could walk dreams. But this Elder would not give up so easily. The Sea of Despair chilled, freezing against the misty form of Zenos. Crying out, it fled from the once Crystal Sea, taking physical form. It's eyes, if those dark, empty pools could be called eyes, constricted for a moment, before it felt pain unlike any other, as what could only be described as the head was lopped clean off. The beast began to shift, change back into mist, but as it fled into the Sea of Despair, it found the waters were more than just cold - it turned to ice around it. And there the beast was frozen, half headless, corporeal form, and half Insubstantial.
Narsrim - Lord Shikari, The Predator, Tracker of the Elder Gods has been feasted upon.
Tsuki - Zenos, the Insubstantial, Soulless has been decapitated.
You all awake and make your way to Avechna's Peak to discuss the deaths the night has brought. You look at each other in quizzically and begin to talk....
Thanks to Ye of Little Faith for this morning's revelations.
With 8 alive, it's 5 to string em up!

I blame this on Shikari being a crappy warrior. I should have been Hajamin, he would have won!

Okay, now that it's daytime, I'm going to admit I was stupid yesterday, and I'll probably lose for it now. I'm Urlach. I was in a team of sorts with Revan/Klangratch over there. We agreed in the night to vote for the same person, hence his voting so soon after me. I don't think he can verify this since he's dead now, but I'll hope so. (We'll see.) But I forgot about the rule where people get revealed on death...hence my switching my vote to him (yeah, I was trying to allay suspicion, it seemed like a good idea at the time >_<). Anyway. I'm not going to FoS anyone yet, as I need to go back through and see who's suspicious, but if anyone believes me and has some guardian-like power (it seems we have either some Tzaraziko person around or someone who hunts Soulless, hence Fain's and Zenos' deaths) it'd be good to protect me for want of anyone else we know is an Elder. If any seer-type people out there have scried me now would be a good time too.
I don't know if coming out about this is going to do a lot of good, but just in case anyone can find out from Revan (or he's allowed to say.)

Revan is dead. He can't say anything.
Shiri2005-09-07 07:32:38
Well if anyone else can supply supportive evidence, then...

and I approve of my death, very nicely done
Those who knew me, know I cheer for them.

Oh nice deathscenes. *clap Rhayni*
Now...what to do what to do....Think I'm going to vote No Lynch for now till we get a few more people talking. See if we get ANY information that could help settle us on a name. *slight frown* Cause right now it's still a "eenie meenie miney moe" thing.

Urlach, I do believe you to be who you claim you are. Why? Because no Soulless would be stupid enough to post such a post after making such a travesty of the situation the previous day. I nearly changed my vote yesterday, but decided to wait and see how things panned out. I was going to FoS Tsuki today, for being so adament we slay someone, but it seems my suspicions are unneeded. I await the opinions of others, and sit once more upon the fence for now.

I mean, you're making yourself such an obvious target, you can't really be soulless I know you are not new to this game.

Wait, I'm confused, I thought the point of this was to try to keep yourself alive till the end, so if he's making himself a target for Zenos's buddies and there isn't one of those guard-people out there then isn't he a gonner and thus a soulless because that is the only way he could not be a gonner? The only way he would not be a target is if some of us out here use your powers to help him... I wish I knew more about the (behind the scenes-stuff) of this game.

Lalala, as a helpful hint, in case it comes around today like it did yesterday.
A popular tactic in Mafia games is to, when someone is one vote away from being lynched, offer them the chance to claim. That is to say, claim who they are, and perhaps what they do. Lieing is a dangerous thing - you can get caught doing it. But it can also save you.
Just one of the things Rhayni and I noticed last game - very surprised Revan was not offered to claim. But then I kind of realized some of you may not know what that is.

Alright, fine!
I'm Estarra. Every night, I can destroy all of Creation, code a new skillset, or code a new event. Also, I am un-night killable, and un-daykillable. I can scry all of you at once, as well, I have shiny red button that shrubs mortals.
However, I seem incapable of ridding us of Guido permanently. And Erion's not worth the effort.
