"Weaklings, all of them." The Almighty Kethuru thought as he moved through the darkness. "They will all be destroyed." A malevolent laugh rippled across the Basin of Life. "I have not even had to hide myself, they are such fools. Tonight one more will die." He chuckled to himself. "But first.. I shall gather myself."
Returning to the place of power He has claimed, using it to fool the simple elders. Aah, sweet power. Bathing in the raw power of the Astral Plane, the greatest of the Soulless Ones wondered which of the Elders He would seek out and devour. Aah, His taste had become refined - He oft wondered what it would be like to dine upon the flesh of Estarra. Yet, it seemed contradicting - He had once been a Handmaiden of Magnora, a part of Estarra. Yet, He could not help but wish the destruction of all life.
Yet, suddenly, a hideous roar filled the place of power - Kethuru's diminished, altered form turned a moment in surprise, before He recognized what charged Him. Yet it did no good. The onslaught was malevolent in nature - it seemed driven by something so much more than just hunger. Pain wrent the Great One's body, tearing at the void where any other creation would have had a soul.
Anguish filled Him. He cried out, shattering any semblance of peace left in the terror-thickened night. The onslaught was done by no mortal - was this the force that slew Zenos? With a shuddering gasp, which raddled the mountains and seas of Lusternia, Kethuru took flight. No longer could He remain here. He was not fully recovered, yet. He would need time. And so He fled to the Void.
Branwyn, Almighty Kethuru, God Slayer, has been driven back to the Void. Yes, dead, killed, whatever
Everyone wakes, the malevolent presence of Kethuru gone from the Basin of Life. After reaching Avechna's Peak, you look at each other and realize that the Soulless have not yet been defeated and begin the day's deliberations about who must be slain.
With 7 alive, it's 4 to string em up.

...whee! Driven back to the void is as good as slain, right?
Shorlen2005-09-09 06:38:03
From the voting yesterday, I am inclined to believe that either Eyod, Wesmin, or Requiem is Soulless. I thus poin the FoS at Wesmin for his attempt to urge us into voting to lynch someone, as such bloodthirst is the hallmark of the Soulless.
Shiri2005-09-09 06:39:42
So if the Soulless didn't nail anyone that night, I think we can conclude that they attacked someone, and were blocked. I wonder if that was me. Hmm.
Sylphas2005-09-09 06:43:49
Something obviously happened. I highly doubt it was them that forced Kethuru away, and they didn't get one of us, so either they couldn't decide, or were blocked.
I'm not sure who to vote for yet, but I doubt we can rely on whatever has been killing the Soulless. Anyone else have suspicions?

So let' see who's left. Shorlen, Eyod, Wesmin, Xenthos, Me, RDE, and Squirrelbutt. Eyod's still being quiet, so that's a place to look.
I'm not sure about Wesmin either though...that post he made earlier confused me. *checks it again*

Kethuru was on noone's side - the Soulless might indeed have slain It. But two people did not die, so it is also possible that whomever of us is slaying Soulless slew It, and the Soulless were blocked.
Shiri2005-09-09 06:53:48
Oh, I didn't check the first page. That's true.
Anyway, I looked back at Wesmin's post, and he seems to want the tracker (who killed a Soulless and a traitor) gone? Not sure if that's just not thinking properly at the time or posting badly for a moment, but it looks suspicious to me. FoS Wesmin, will proceed to vote later unless someone can come up with a good reason as to why we shouldn't have him die.

Proceeding to vote for Wesmin. No offense. Don't trust you. At all.

Lalalala. While this is all going wonderfully, I'm going to bring up a situation that happened last night, in Mafia.
AniX was talking about X-Files, and I was talking about how much Scully effin' sarks. He's all, "I PLAY BY SENSE OF SMELL!" and I'm all "SCULLY'S A WHORE!!!!!" Ibaesha's all lurking like she always does, and this one guy, Peng, is all "OMG EVERYONE'S MAFIA!"
Well, with the four of us left, we just kinna said "Okay, everyone, claim." Well, okay, Ibaesha said it - AniX was still talking about X-Files, I was talking about his inability to get laid, and Peng was still convinced everyone was Mafia.
Know what? Peng was right. And we won. And Scully still fuggin' sarks.

WTF are you smoking?

The scary part is, that was an accurate description of chat mafia.

Yea, but there was a hidden suggestion in there.

The hidden suggestion I'm getting is "give up, you're outnumbered by Soulless." I hope that's not what you're trying to make us think
Unknown2005-09-09 17:45:32
I refuse to post any more. I'm being too nice and unbalanced and playing favourites. The poor Soulless think I must be spoon feeding you - s'alright. Rhayni wants the Soulless to win, I'm rooting for the home team.
Unknown2005-09-09 17:45:41
If that were true, the game would be over.
Xenthos2005-09-09 17:47:10
Anyhow, I'm not voting yet. If anyone has any more information on what happened last night, it would be appreciated... did the other Soulless attack Kethuru? If not, why did their attack not happen?
I'm leaning towards Wesmin at the moment, but that may change depending on whether anyone knows anything.
Edit: Ooo, is your hidden suggestion "everyone claim"? Not too bad an idea actually (and I think I can get away with this edit since nobody else has posted yet!)
