Alright, so we ascertained that Wesmin was a Soulless. That means anyone voting for him is likely not to be (Sylphas voted last and he was good, so there's no excuse of "they were probably just following along". Makes Shorlen, legit. RDE too, I think. That leaves Eyod and Xenthos. I'm unsure about Xenthos, but Eyod's been quiet this whole time.
FoS Eyod. Proceeding to vote later unless someone comes up with something new.

Shiri, thoughts on having everyone claim? I know you did already. That's the reason I didn't vote yesterday, I was trying to sound out opinions on everyone revealing themselves, and instead of that, just got a lot of voting.
Luckily, it went well.
We lost our guardian last night, so I guess it's a question of whether we want to keep guessing as we are, or risk someone else important in an effort to narrow down the choices.
Shiri2005-09-11 03:58:34
Well, I'm most interested in having you and Eyod claim, Xenthos, but I wouldn't mind knowing what Shorlen and RDE are now either.
Unknown2005-09-11 04:01:22
Ok, I'm going to wager that there is only one Soulless left, and if not it doesn't matter all that much anyways. If there are two left and we kill the one of them (assuming it's Xenthos and Eyod) they kill one of us and we finish tomorrow, we win.
I mainly want to voice my frustration at being foiled two nights in a row. I am Lisaeris and I play the part of the vigilante. I get to kill people at night, along with the Soulless and Kethuru. The only person I've managed to kill thus far was Tsuki (who was a Soulless). Two nights in a row I've tried to kill Xenthos and nothing happened at all.
When Kethuru died, whomever she tried to kill didn't die, so I can only assume that Rhayni has us playing such that if you die in the night you don't get to do your action. If this is true then it is not, as I previously suspected, that the guardian was protecting Xenthos during the night.
I think Xenthos might be some form of the Godfather, who has immunity from night-killings in some versions. This means he is almost certainly a Soulless. The other option is that he has a bullet-proof vest equivalent (any character can be immune from night killings.) but I seriously doubt it.
That being said: Voting for Xenthos
If the Soulless kill me tonight (which they won't, because I just said that they would) after we kill Xenthos and if he's Soulless, then just kill of Eyod tomorrow. If for whatever reason you people decide to lynch me instead, you'll see that I'm Lisaeris the Silver Goddess.
Edit: And bah upon the two posts while I was typing. Xenthos, how do you explain your night-time immunity?

well Ive mainly been quiet because I don't know what the nil I'm doing but I suppose that dosen't help anyone at this stage, however yesterday and the day before there was lightning strikes around here and I was afraid to turn on my computer (and when I did and managed to get through to lusty I could hold a connection for a whole 40 seconds).
um, I'm inclined to go with Xenthos and say claim.
I'm pretty certain that Shiri and Shorlen arn't soulless, I am inclined to believe however that Requiem is soulless as his been even quieter then I have.
soFOS Requiem dot exe I think thats how it's done.

You've tried to kill me two nights in a row? That's AWESOME!
I am Viravain, Mistress of the Webs. My role is to bind my target in shadows, causing them not to be able to do any action at all during the night.
I thought you were soulless since they didn't do a kill the night before last, so I bound you again to see.
Both nights you tried for me, I had you bound.
Eyod2005-09-11 04:04:38
wait Xenthos has night time immunity, does that mean you can't do things to him at night at all?
Unknown2005-09-11 04:05:17
I hate you now.
On the other hand, unless Xenthos is just awesomely cool, he made up the role, title, and effect too quickly. I'm going to say he's legit on this one, which means that Eyod is probably the remaining Soulless.
Unvote Xenthos

No, I don't have immunity. I can stop ONE person from performing their nightly task... and I luckily chose the person trying to kill me both times.
Unknown2005-09-11 04:08:23
I can't remember exactly why I picked you, but I think it had something to do with urging similar action to two of the other known Soulless. Anyway, it worked out for the best.
Eyod, want to say what you are and what you do? And Shorlen, too. I want to hear it.
And Rhayni, are you going to tell us what all of the roles did when the game is over? I'm curious about Fain, for example.

He said he thought I was Soulless, so it would make sense that he would keep binding me until the Soulless actually managed to kill someone.
Eyod2005-09-11 04:12:16
he kept you bound so the soulless could keep killing, I dont get it?

AHH, BUT YOU ARE WRONG, "LACOSTIAN"! I CHOSE HIM BECAUSE I HAD VAGUE SUSPICIONS, AND WHEN THE SOULLESS KILLED NO ONE THAT EVENING, I BELIEVED I HAD NETTED MYSELF A FISH! MY BELOVED CROW WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO FEASTING IF THE SOULLESS HAD ONCE AGAIN NOT KILLED ANYONE LAST NIGHT, BUT THAT WAS NOT TO BE.
I VOTE FOR EYOD!

Damn Soulless. Oh well. Good luck Elders.
Eyod2005-09-11 04:14:08
Nice Viravain impression, but Didn't the soulless kill someone every night?
Unknown2005-09-11 04:15:11
Up until now, every single person has a role. They might not actually do something at night, but there was something special about them. Keep in mind that Rhayni had a very specific number of people who could play. This also indicates that each person got a special role.
Eyod's version of Lacostian sounds an awful lot like a normal citizen and I just don't buy it.
But isn't this a lynch anyway?
