another question about which is better for fighting with speed as an ebonguard. After specialization there stats are about the same only the faeling is faster. What would be the advantage of being aslaran
Murphy2005-09-04 14:44:58
advantage would be higher con, higher str for the aslaran plus the lvl 1 aslaran eq bonues

+2 INT, +2 STR, +1 CON, +1 equilibrium for -1 balance?

Aslaran gain a lot less from sipping health/mana/bromide than Faelings. They eat herbs slower, they burn easier in fire..

Aslaran are sexier.
No, in truth, shadowlord faeling will be better for combat.

Once you pass the tankage threshold, which will be easier to gain if you get Surge.

sipping bonus is awesome too while a sipping penalty really does hurt. Herb balance is a bit more noticeable here as it seem's like a norm for classes to dish out afflictions (though also a lot of them have multiple cures). The speed difference is abit misleading because you really cant just say, its just 1lvl difference. That lvl actually means a lot in regards to weapons.
While I'm a cat I would say faelings make a better ebonguard. But yes gwylifar is right the cats are sexier.

Gwylifar and Alger are right.

On a more helpful note, you're comparing a specialized race to a non-specialized race. The shadow faelings are SUPPOSED to be superior.
