Fain         M  (whole)      Banished to the Void, went crazy as a result

He did? I thought he was always a touch demented, hence trying to make a pact with the Soulless.

CODE
Raezon       M  (whole)      Tried to gain a link to Kethuru through Viravain

Has it been confirmed that that's what he was trying to do? Thought Kethuru coming out was a mistake.

CODE
Lisaera      F  (whole)      Awoke the Moon, once lover of Fain

WTF?

laugh.gif All true, as far as I know. The second one can be called an opinion IC, but Shorlen's convinced of it, and was long before Raezon posted something OOC on the forums to that effect (he said something like, "Dang! So close to getting my link to the unlimited power of the Soulless!"). Kethuru breaking free was unintentional - he just wanted the Seal weakened so he could reach through and tap Kethuru's power. He didn't expect the Seal to actually BREAK.

He was listing the Primal Gods. Next sentence he says, "And there were the Fates.." and he also said, I believe, that the Fates claim to exist in all places that the spark of creation makes home to. Still think they're creations of Dynara.

Oh, I wasn't the only Primal God left from the ancient times. There was
Keph, She of the Many Eyes, and Vrandrac the One, a huge amorphous mass.
And, of course, there were the Fates, older even than I, who claimed
they came into being when Dynara begat her first creation, but who were
never themselves created. They were a mystery, I think, even to Dynara.

So, Draconis wasn't sure if the Fates counted as Primal Gods or something else either tongue.gif

There's tons more Elder Gods out there that we don't know about, I believe.

And did anyone in particular awake Hart/Raven?

I doubt that it is a completed list. i'm sure there are some who died to the souless, just as there were hundreds of vernal who did. And then there are probaly still some unknown ones floating out in those unknown places.

Aww, but irritating you is fun!

And Primal Gods != Third Circle Gods

Just about all of the Primal Gods were eaten by Magora in the end, and there is nothing that states they all decided to be a part of the Circles when they were created, or were concious/sentient enough to do so.

EDIT: And I thought Keph and She Of Many Eyes were two different people. Silly ambiguous commas...

I'll look at it again, but I'm pretty sure the Third Circle Gods were all Dynara's accidental successes. And that's where all those accidental successes went. Doesn't mean Keph and the few others left didn't go crazy during the Great Silence. But, I count them all the same until told differently. tongue.gif
Nokraenom2005-09-05 22:24:15
I don't think that's entirely true. The Third Circle also includes some of the Elder Gods, such as Lacostian, who is most definately not a Primal God.

Also, I don't believe the Fates fall into the Third Circle either, he was just referring to other ancient creatures, and the Fates are among those. The important part was that Dracnoris was speaking of the really ancient beings, and distinguishing between them and the Elder Gods/Star Gods, who were the newer creations. He even suggests that the Fates exist beyond even Dynara's understanding, so I think it's more likely to call them some intrinsic part of reality than Gods, particularly since it explicitly states that Dynara did not create them: they simply "came into being".

See, and I got the feeling that Lacostian was a mistake, too, like the rest - maybe I'm wrong, though. I'll have to go look at it again.
