I'm really pleased with Estarra and the other designers adaptation of other things from history and legend, such as Lowmagic (Chakras), Highmagic (Kabballa), etc.

However, I also hope we see some influence from the Far East. I can think of many things that could come from that realm. I could see several things that might have could be introducted.

* Accupuncture/Accupressure: Used for healing or harming?
* Martial Arts--always cool
* Ninjitsu--we need some kind of spy/scout archetype.
* Taoism, Shintoism, and elements of it.
* Wuxia--This could be cool if pulled off well.
* Qi/Chi/Ki--Mystical Powers.
* Chinese arts, such as Ukiyo-e, Origami, etc, maybe being added to arts.
* Feng Shui--Make it so the right arraignment of furniture has some kinda benificial effect in a manse.
* Fortune Telling, I-Ching?

Isn't one of our coders (Hajamin?) a Korean? I'm just wondering if any eastern influences might be coming?

I remember somebody saying that one of the coders, or at least one of the gods, was Korean or at least lived there. It might just be fuzzy memories though.

Seriously, I was thinking Feng Shui might be a transcendent skill in Artisan, for instance, maybe each room has a specific effect, such as.

FengShui Room A

If two couches, a sconse, a tapestry, a carpet and a chandellier are put into this room, everybody who sits in it will automatically get a beauty spell cast on them.

FengShui Room B

If a Bed, Curtains, two chairs, and a dresser are put here, sleep will have double health recovery.

Or something like that...

"You are blasted in the face by the negative energy trapped in the room. Open a window, loser".

Wouldn't that be awesome to go into someone's manse, rearrange the furniture, and generate negative energy.

I wouldn't mind Ninjitsu or Monks if they were presented in a unique manner. Maybe blend east and west into something whole. We do have a monestary in Lusternia.
