I think larger books with non-paper are real impractical. They can be used for scrolls, but probably not anything larger. I don't believe a printing press would work well with Vellum.

Anyway, I thought this thread would be featuring picture books. I think there should be a way to combine arts with books somehow. Y'know, have a "monster manual" and next to each page a picture.

And Arts should allow unqiue sketches and paintings, not just portraits and paintings.

Early Bibles were written on parchment. I'm sure the bible is more than 100 pages.

Bring on the papyrus! Having it grow on the banks of rivers would make sense .

Early Bibles weren't printed. Until rather recently, all books were copied by hand.

The council is already working on nice furrikin books so we can supply the masses. Though our researchers have encountered an obstacle in supply constraints, as it takes about 10 furrikins to make a page, we have recieved reports that the furrikins in New Celest are humping like rabbits. If accurate this will solve our supply demands.
