i'm 1/4 chipawa, 1/4 polish, 1/4 scottish, and 1/4 welsh(at family reunions on the scottish side there was once a person attempting to play a polka on bagpipes(allot of the polish side comes to the scottish side's reunion) it was very funny! expesially since they didn't know how to play bagpipes in the first place).
what about yourselves, where're you from, i mean?

Immediate family, or extended ancestry?
Ialie2005-09-07 21:06:16
No clue. My ancestors were owned by Scottish people, and took on their master's last name after they were freed. Beyond that I have no clue.

50% Japanese
50% American -> 15-20% of it is German, I suppose, but that goes a wee back. Don't know the rest.
Navaryn2005-09-07 22:37:14
Well, umm... the grandmother of one of my grandmother was Italian.

That's all I know...
Athana2005-09-07 22:39:40

Immediate? Welsh, English, Polish, New Zealand. Extended is most of europe, plus Trinidad (wherever that is) plus Australia.
Sylphas2005-09-08 05:10:18
Trinidad is a Caribbean isle.
Xavius2005-09-08 05:10:42
Dominant are Irish (3/8) and German (1/4). From there, you get Cherokee, Dutch, French, English, Italian, and Hebrew.
Unknown2005-09-08 05:20:53
No idea. We came over on the Second Fleet, I think, but that's about all I know.

EDIT: Plus, my mother's parents died when she was young and my father's dad was adopted, so we only have my dad's mother to trace our history through.
Narsrim2005-09-08 05:27:13
Mostly Irish and Scottish with a splash of German and Dutch.
Bau2005-09-08 05:43:44
Ha, my ancestors all bought their way over on the Fleet. No convicts here.
Unknown2005-09-08 11:14:04
I'm 1/4 black irish, 1/4 white irish, and half israeli.

You'll now be known as a Belgian Waffle. Yes, I think that is good for today. Hmm, those cream cheasy filled waffles from IHOP look yummy on the commercials. Hmm.. coffee and waffles, coffee and cigarettes, coffee and coffee.. Yes, I've lost my mind. Someone help me. wacko.gif
