Okay, after a few months absense, LusterWiki is back in business and ready from Wiki..ing. The new Wiki is located at www.ironkingdom.net, and all the old pages I could find were moved over to the new Wiki.

Those who had visited the Wiki in its previous incarnation may notice a change in how things are done. All Lusternia related pages are prefixed with "Lust:". If you are using internal linking, use ] (eg. ] )

Following on from V1.0, I ask that anyone who contributes register so that a name instead of IP address shows up in "Recent Changes". Many of the pages (namely the Guilds) will be quite out of date, and I havn't had the time to update all the old internal links to the new system yet, so there will be lots of dead links. Feel free to fix them yourselves.

Hopefully we'll have more success with the Wiki this time around!

Oh! I forgot to mention! I'm going to lift the 'restiction' from the previous Wiki in regards personal pages for characters (description, background, history, accomplishments you're proud of).
I'm still trying to work out how I would do the 'Featured Character' idea, but it's still on the books.

That was from the v1.0. I only noticed it was there when I was moving files over. Sneaky Guido. But yeah, that was the first one.

For those interested in knowing what's going on... I've recently discovered ], and in order to make them all neat and alphabetical (and make the front page much neater), I'm abondoning the lust: prefix idea. So, the LusterWiki page will probably be filled with red links for an hour or so until I'm all done and have the new LusterWiki frontpage done!
And then I'm going to start working on pages for areas/villages/cities/communes.

This thing is pretty cool, I think I might have to start adding to it.
Jalain2005-09-16 21:41:12
Would be nice if someone other that I did *sulks*

Anyway, the new 'layout' is all done. Should be much easier to navigate and find what you need now. Will still be quite a lot of red links, though. So, if you find one, chech to make sure there isn't a page for it already, and the link isn't just pointing to the wrong place. If there isn't already a page, make one! smile.gif

I'm going to start making the Geograhy section now *starts snatching up maps*

How do we make a new page?

I am proud to announce I have updated *one* page.

I added some stuff before too.
Richter2005-09-16 22:25:58
Okay, let's say I got to "Lusternia cities and communes" and I want to add Gaudiguch. Theoretically, how would I do that?
Jalain2005-09-16 22:30:14
Click on with one the links, and change the URL so the last word is "Gaudiguch"
Will open a page that isn't really there, but there is a tab that will allow you to edit it, which you click on. Then you just put the stuff in and save it.

You need to put ] at the bottom for it to be included in the category.
