I'm seriously starting to think if my Username isn't my Lusternia character then my posts get passed over by half the forum.

And YES, Vincent was AMAZING. He was the most kick ass character on there (Although a certain moment by a certain character could've surpassed his coolness briefly).

Yeah, Vincent rocks. I always liked him the most in the game too (even though he was quite weak from what I recall).

The movie is awesome but still... something's missing. It's a bit too gamish.

Woahhhhhhh that was awesome. I loved all the bits of the OST they fit in. I did get a bit lost at points though, but some good stuff nonetheless.

Does anyone want to tell those of us what happened in FF7, for those that didn't play it and are eager to watch the movie anyway? (does the movie relate to the game much though?)

Yeah. I don't think anyone who hasn't played the game will have the faintest idea of what's going on, as nowhere does it explain anything about Sephiroth, Jenova, or...any of the characters actually. (Nor did it really explain why the geostigma was transmitted through the lifestream, since I thought I finished off Jenova Synthesis back in the North Crater, but apparently not.)

Yes it did. Geostigma was transmitted through the lifestream because it was caused by Genova, who's cells, apparantly, were spread through the Lifestream. And Jenova's deadededed, or, well, Jenova's wierd, but yea. Dead. Lifestream = life flow. As in, when something dies, it returns to the Lifestream. So when Jenova died, returned to the lifestream.

oh yeah. Well, it didn't actually explain that, but I should have known that anyway.

It's an OAV the features stuff that happened prior to the FF7 story with Cloud and Zack (And some other characters). Rhysus could probably explain it better as I just googled it.

Yes it does. Mostly the bad guy (Kadaj?) discusses it, although Rufus and Vincent put in a bit here and there.

Who's the dude with Aeris at the end, I must have forgotten part of the storyline.

Zack. I don't remember if he was shown in the game, but he's the guy Cloud pretended to be.
