Back to Common Grounds.

If they'd get Rottweiler, I'd SO make a rogue knight.
Unknown2005-09-11 00:58:46
Rottweilers, or mutts, or maybe some other thing.

Rogue Serpents in Achaea get rattlesnakes...
Shinza2005-09-11 01:00:03
Mmm, chihuahuas...
Jairdan2005-09-11 01:59:41
Hell, even let them just get the beach mongrels from Toronada tongue.gif But not getting dogs period sorta crushes the hope that I think quite a few people had regarding a mercenary clan. Which is too bad. It'd have been quite cool.

IRE Doesnt like rogues.

Deal with it.
Unknown2005-09-11 02:15:53
It's Lusternia specifically that discourages rogues, not IRE.
And it was suggested that now hunters are an archetype workable as a rogue.
Bau2005-09-11 02:20:34
I can just imagine all these rogues being followed around by chihauhas. But what I'd really like to see is daschunds. biggrin.gif Sausage dogs forever! They're the most loyal, loveable, and occasionally fierce little things, and they're the only dogs I -really- like.

Unknown2005-09-11 02:27:16
Uh, Ur'guard already has bloodhounds.
Shiri2005-09-11 02:28:37
And Hartstone already has foxes.

Pigs of some sort. Perhaps various types of pig. They have good noses, and can be vicious in battle! If they are tuskeded pigs.

Lisaera -and- Estarra spoke as if rogue trackers were plausible (or else why give them a seperate name and say they were being nice to rogues?) At least that was my interpretation, as well as various other people's who were actually considering a rogue mercenary clan.
Bau2005-09-11 02:36:41
Long live the daschund!

So you lose a dog and a couple of abilities. Wow. None of your other abilities require power - a hunter/tracker is the most versatile class in the game. You can move between any city and commune with 0 lesson loss. You can remain rogue, and set up a serious number of traps, and kill people left and right.

Your skillset isn't based on a dog. It's based on traps - which are wicked and powerful. Be glad it doesn't take 28 power to use, and can be the source of an instakill from any novice. <3
Vix2005-09-11 02:46:47
Hehe. Chow chows! Kill your opponents by choking them in fur!
Stangmar2005-09-11 02:54:52
Heh, i had a chow once. They're cute. But seriously, it should be a border collie. They are big, rambunctious, and loveable.
Unknown2005-09-11 02:58:03
Rogues should get Gimp, the three legged, 80 year old basset hound. <3
Alger2005-09-11 03:37:05
actually erion whats a tracker if you cant track. Cant track without a hound/wolf so you going the skillset is about traps isnt necessaryly correct since it is called tracking.

Thorgal explained it perfectly, traps are the main part of tracking.

I believe, Alger, you hit the nail on the head.
