A few ideas I had regarding Nexuses. A lot of people seem to complain about having too much power, or at least they did when Astral wasn't drained, so I was thinking that when you first 'link nexus' you shouldn't automatically start draining it.

After linking, you can either 'drain' or 'empower'. Draining works the same as always, but when you 'empower' you begin to slowly channel power from your reserves back into the nexus. The nexus would only gain one power per %, the rest being burned away or otherwise spent in the transfer. You would empower a nexus at the same rate that you drain it. For example:

I don't really see the point of this.

If you had an excess of power due to one of the draining skills or linking to Astral Nodes, or those Nodes that show up when one of those statues is completed.

How often does that happen? And why couldn't you just be a bit more reckless with your power consumption?

Eh, just figured it would be nice to be able to help your city with it instead of summoning 5 staffs and tainting half of Celest for a laugh.

Yeah, this skill would have been really nice back when the nodes were still alive...I use to use fireworks to get rid of power

Thats the only thing fireworks are good for too.

Hajamin had some at the wedding. There were fun. Sort of like thunderclap, but without the damage, and with more pyrotechnics.

I'd always spam hod to get rid of power.

Can't you just drain power from the node directly to your nexus?

Oh..I always thought only guardians/wiccans with the ability could do that.

Guardians can do it, and Moon/Night users can do it if they have a coven going.

I'd just forget to buy food and whore Orange.
