Biggest fit imagineable? Or blink and stare at the screen really hard. Then probably talk to me for the first time in many, many months wonder wtf is going on.

Do it!
It's not like I'm marrying, say, someone who actively works to destroy the forests. THEN Auseklis would care.
He doesn't care one way or the other about Taint, or plants being overharvested, or if the communes use the cities to get their own way on occasion (which does not include long-term alliances). Why would he care if His OH married a cityperson, who was even a Glomdorian himself for some time?

I just want to see the aquamancer leadership faced with one of their novices considering a Glomdoring person as mother and a magnagoran as father.
I mean, actually to RP considering somebody you should spend some times with that person... Last time I checked the only thing a celestian novice could do with a magnagoran would be killing/dieing to him/bragging about something to him.
I don't wanna be nasty about this, but I really dislike this kind of families with siblings from all the enemy cities chatting happily on the family clan while their respective cities are in war.

I don't think Anisu is a novice. Unless I missed something (quite possible )
Iridiel2005-09-15 15:20:27
Even worse, sorry for thinking he was a novice but I cannot see how can enter into an aquamancer RP the idea of chatting amiabily with two tainted beings to the point of deciding they're his adoptive parents. Next thing Fain gives his blessing to the happy family who now adopted a nice baby merian!

What is the point of this, exactly? My grandparents are conservative Republicans, and strict Catholics. My parents and I are all die-hard Democrats, and while I believe in some spirituality I choose not to follow the Catholic faith despite both my parents doing so.
You aren't your parents, and Bau and Chade's children will not be miniature replicas of them. End of story.

Yeah, but to be able to consider somebody as your father/mother you need to spend some time with them (that's what the consideration period is about). What's the point in recognizing one's son when that son is of the exactly opposite faction?
See that I don't include the families that started with all being in friendly factions but then went in different ways...

They are older at that point, but there's nothing to say that the child wasn't initially reared in the parents' city or commune. After all, I think the youngest age you can come through the Portal at is 16.
It's possible that the child went through the Portal to attempt to strike off from their parents and start their own life. The consideration period is just to make sure that they are in fact part of the family, which is perfectly valid for them to roleplay while being in opposing factions.

Well, for Ash, it doesn't matter anymore, anyway.

As for me knowing about Auseklis' philosophy, its silly to think i've only ever played Jairdan.
Does anyone know who some of your other characters were? If not I think some poeple would be very suprised.
