Nice, Shiri.

I almost thought that you already knew it was a joke for a moment there.

A large race will be harder to stun than a small race. This is not a
downgrade for small races. In fact even a faeling may notice some
decrement to their stun time with the new formula; the formula just
works better for igasho than faeling.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Avechary, in the year 127 CE.

They broke stun... I bellowed narsrim like 10 times nothing happened.. I shieldstuned.. nothing happened. He shieldstuned me. Nothing happened
Narsrim2005-09-17 21:40:24
This is like a dream come true!
Malicia2005-09-17 21:43:44
laugh.gif Awesome. Let's work with this for a bit!
Munsia2005-09-17 21:47:49
I'm confused.. doesnt this really hurt faeling and furrikin?

No, they'll just get a slightly shorter stun than what it was before while the bigger races will have even less.
Jack2005-09-17 21:49:05
No, since stun overall has been downgraded, and they'll actually be suffering less from stun than before.

Though brood viscanti will be feeling it far less. evil.gif

Well, bellow wasn't meant to permanently stun a person. It still has its uses in group combat I guess.
Thorgal2005-09-17 21:50:32
We'll see how it works when it works.. yeah.
Kahazul2005-09-17 21:51:13
If it is really doing nothing, I imagine it's a misweave.

They gave a 1 second delay.. thats not a permanent stun (it never was)
Thorgal2005-09-17 22:28:35
Munsia, there's seriously no point in trying to defend bellow the way it used to work.

ya there is.. This gives warriors once again another advantage. They arent stunned as easily anymore so theres another thing to upgrade them. they gave all stun a 1 second delay which many people could use to thier advantage glare.gif

group combat will always be overpowered though dry.gif This still leaves others to do good on their own that do stuns regularly since Most druids prefer small size
Athana2005-09-18 02:09:07
Well this is a downgrade to mage demesnes too but stun was too strong before and larger races only had the harder to summon advantage of it whereas smaller races tumbled and writhed quicker.
Terenas2005-09-18 02:17:20
It's currenly broken, but when it's fixed, hopefully even at the largest normal race enlarged size, 21, the chance of stun is reduced down to only ~50%.
Icarus2005-09-18 02:39:09
Wouldn;t it make more sense if stun time is based on size difference rather tha fixed acording to stunned person size? So an igasho vs an igasho will have same stun time as a faeling vs faeling, but it will be longer/shorter if the size difference is postive/negative.
