I've never had a pooka force go through that requires me to be on eq, except when not actually engaged in combat, and I'm a REALLY bad fighter. You outstrip me pretty easily. I'd encourage you to look through your logs again. I bet you really don't have trouble with things like that being forced.

There are ways to get a force off while people have eq and balance, just requires set-up or luck.

Envoy reports, as We have said before, should be in bullet form. We don't read essasys, infact just the bullets are sent to us to look at.

IE:

1. Lich shouldn't cost power.

2. Putre should be given a lower health drain, but also a mana drain to balance it out.

3. Soulless tarot should be instant, but cost 20p.

That way we look, and say No to number 1. Yes to 2, and no to 3.

That shows us quickly what downgrades you suggest for an upgrade, and exactly what WE want to see.

Glad this was clear before I sent out my pages of changes with detailed reasons to why....which mainly all got passed over.

Then for anyone wondering, here is a very safe and fairly effective example of how to post your envoy reports:

NECROMANCY

Bugs/Problems:

. Putre is broken, it is dealing triple damage!

. Lichdom is getting randomly stripped.

Tweaks/Changes:

. Raisedead should cost 3 power.

New Skills:

.Necrophilia - Murphy molests his fiancee's corpse, 5 power, makes everyone run away from him in fear and disgust.


Remember, there are lots of reports, and it is possible the person sorting your reports does not know your skills as well as you do.

Keep elementalism in elementalism, not meshed with dreamweaving, as an example.

Keep things simple, clearly labeled, something you can imagine looking over and not screaming in pain because it is the 15th report you have looked at in a 5 hour span, and you are trying to decipher what has been written without causing your eyes to start bleeding.

Thank you, I've been Envoy for three guilds now and the first envoy reports ever asked for, I was told by the person who went through them that it was preferred if it was detailed, so they understood why such changes were asked for. Now I know it's quick and easy to do the reports

You'll want evidence and to have reasons prepared in case someone inquires further, but you don't need to have a report be an essay. The very first reports made obviously needed a great deal more than would be needed now.

Just remember, people need to read over reports concerning each skill, which takes a great deal of time. Short and concise will generally go over better than a three page report on why cosmicfire isn't good enough.

Hmm that ought to be interesting, too bad that doesn't stop debating in peaced villages.

Some effective means were needed to slow debating used by telepaths going for a Mindburst. Unfortunately, debating should not be a means of going for a Mindburst in the first place. But, since it is the only way of accomplishing that goal (the actual attacks being too slow to be effective solo or even in small teams of telepaths), telepaths will still end up using it as their means of pulling off a Mindburst kill.

The hypocrisy in the posts about transmigration's "nerf" makes me laugh. You all bitched when people complained about lichdom's multiple downgrades yet it's perfectly fine for you all to bitch about the -unstoppable- lichdom-type skill being restricted to the same plane. You can basically do anything on prime without losing a thing besides a bit of power. The exp loss from conglutinate is hardly painful if you die off-plane (I can say that as a level 97) and if you don't have conglutinate then that's your problem.
