I got the thousandth reply! Bwahahaha!
Shiri2005-09-22 09:42:30
I think this is only the second longest thread outside of the RL section, though, hmm.

Quotes being the longest?
Shiri2005-09-22 14:21:58
That's in the RL section. I meant the section where postcount matters. There used to be a competitor in this giant thread Richter made about me posting too much that ended up with Daganev, Zaltan and Silvanus posting like 10 pages of the same post each for no good reason, but that got shunted into the RL section.
The one I'm thinking of (and I might be wrong) was a rant about Crow related stuff, back in the day where people actually had to rezz him (and whine when they failed 'cause we had to stop them or it'd cripple our Nexus. )

Oh yes, postcount race! So exciting!
Or not.

Shiri2005-09-22 14:34:26
Shush, I was just commenting. We have records for "most people on a thread" too! (37...I think. Maybe 39. It was on one of those threads that sprung up when Lusternia died.)
Shamarah2005-09-22 20:42:55
Yeah... I think Quotes and Post About the Poster Above You have been the longest threads.
Speaking of which, perhaps I should rezz the latter...

Loving many of these changes. Especially the changes to Athletics (I completely forgot the one regarding poisons/Resilience/Immunity, good thing Thorgal remembered). Sucks that Regeneration and Boost Regeneration are still useless since they suck a ton of willpower and mana, which most of us warriors have little of.
Goyel2005-09-22 22:55:32
Its useful to the people with willpower AKA the people who really need to use it.

Not really... unless you *like* wasting hours regenerating willpower. It's better to just not use it and sip a little more.

Curses. I don't even have an excuse this time. Except for blaming Tully for distracting me.

Yes, I saw that..and ratting too!

I killed a baby rat to throw it at him. He was cleaning off my pocketbelts, grovelling, and hugging me.
Unknown2005-09-22 23:47:34
He cleaned off your pocketbelts like he cleans off other people.
Then he got drunk, which was why he grovelled and hugged you. Hugging and groveling is not typical for Tully.

He didn't clean off the very bloody dead rat, though.

My suggestions to slightly tweak these new abilities would be: 1) increase Heftyaxe hit-rate to around the same as Heftysword, and 2) make Heftysword also works on Pureblades and Axelords.Â
190507
They are the same rate and heftysword does consume full balance against two handed parry weapon just as it does to utilize a two handed weapon.
Daevos2005-09-23 00:20:33
I love Assault, thanks.

Forgive me for not testing thoroughly, only doing 10 parries per axe/sword, so the results were not accurate. However, Thorgal tested 100 parries and the success rate for Heftsword is 10%, which seems too low to make the abilities useful. While I think the idea for Heftyaxe and Heftysword is great, the occurrance rate should be at least on par with coule/riposte, since they affect only one arm/weapon.
Sweep, however, is just sweet. Thanks!
