You want envenom to be after shieldparry, because you need shieldparry to fight knights?

Yes, yes, selfish and all, but I need shieldparry to fight knights, and envenom (since it got moved into combat) is before shieldparry. So shieldparry got shunted up some. And now I don't have it, I can't parry, so I get shafted vs. warriors.
Thorgal2005-09-27 08:15:16
Ahh, you lost shieldparry, now I get ya.

Yeah...another Moondancer was missing that earlier Oh well! Next person that finds out how many % through master it is, do tell.
Munsia2005-09-27 08:52:20
I have shieldriposte haha
Kaervas2005-09-27 09:46:17
Good thing winter won't affect me, trans environment does have its uses.

Hexagram now works similarly to Necromancy Contagion, the more people that are flying or in trees, the less fraction of them it will pull
down.
YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was in faethorn defending from some random Mag with High Magic... maybe it was Ixion? *shrug* anyway, like 4 people in the trees and the bloody thing gets us all. I like this, it incourages group combat!

I know this means that Hexagram could be possibly useless on a druid in decent groups

- There is a new skill called Trotting, have a look.
193342
It gives you more rooms to move before you get the hasty message..
What on earth is the point of that? Gallop already does that, and better, you can gallop from the top of Avechna's Peak to the Pool of Stars in less than a second with an alias, since gallop and sprint don't have any limit at all, you never get the hasty message using those. So trotting doesn't have any use..
Shiri2005-09-27 10:59:59
Well...you can't sprint EVERYWHERE. I can't gallop from Mother to my GH, for example, 'cause there's a T junction and you come from the left and have to go down the middle route.
Probably not much point though. I guess trotting is earlier in the skill than gallop?

Thorgal2005-09-27 11:02:52
You get like three normal moves before the hasty message, so you can put those in your sprint alias, enabling you to get to your GH instantly regardless.

It doesn't work like that actually. I tried to do that, but you can't have movement in the middle of a sprinting alias, because it gives you the "hasty" message. So you have to keep pausing.
Thorgal2005-09-27 11:10:59
Okay, but you can still sprint 500 game miles in less than a second, as long as there isn't a splitoff in the roads. Not very realistic, it should work as in Achaea, even if that'd mean a downgrade to sprint, this is either a bug or a design flaw.

Now, while the fact that Envenom is now an easy to reach skill for everyone is wonderful, I have to ask: what do the non-warriors use Envenom for?
Or is this for something in the future?

Unknown2005-09-27 11:44:54
I think its used for telekinesis users so they can envenom there daggers
Niara2005-09-27 11:47:18
Probably something for the future. *drips some poison on her squirrels and snickers*
Unknown2005-09-27 11:49:09
We Moondancers could start poking people with our Athames? :S.
Shiri2005-09-27 12:52:56
Nah, it's just telekinesis users. :/
They have psionically animated daggers that fly around jabbing people with venoms.

Everyone who lost Shieldparry needs to spend 56 lessons to get it back (moved from Master 50% to Gifted 0%). Had to get it again instead of Windtalk earlier Ah well. Envenomed athames and cudgels amuse me Munsia and I were playing about - she managed to put me to sleep with a well timed bellow.
