Can't be worse then when the game opened, I went to killing cows and rockeaters at about level 10 because the average life span of a fink or gnome was about 3 seconds.

Well from the novice point of view, it's really scary when you first come out from the Portal of Fate. You're getting bombarded with a lot of information. Even if you could read them all and also understand what's going on, still the log flood is enormous :x
The first day was true horror. I spend some time reading the races, guilds and archetypes info and I thought I was going to be ok, but after the tutorial I've completely lost it
I didn't know where I was, what should I do, etc. There was a "(children)", a "(Newbie)" and lot's of actions and players telling me what to do. After 4-5 attempts of my guild I've understood that I have to use ghelp novice to learn more things, but still I was confused because I didn't understand most of them... It was really embarrassing that the people from my guild kept telling me that everything I asked was already at the ghelp txt
Today, (my second day) after reading pretty much of the help files, going for a walk at Newton caves and looking at the maps from the cities, I slowly begin to understand what's going on. Still got much to learn
Anyway, I own a big thanks to all these people that keep helping me and I hope to learn the more I can to enjoy Lusteternia.

I do hope all our new novices realize we're trying our best. But please do let your guild know (in a tell if possible, GNT if not) that you are new to muds if you've never played one of IRE's games before. They're a bit..okay a LOT different from most muds, but you'll find your guildmates will be willing to help explain everything to you if you let them know.
