Well, the mortal who does it doesn't actually have to -create- a seal, just recharge the existing ones. With the assistence of Estarra I imagine it would be possible.

I always figured that whoever did this would be raised to a status above a Vernal God but below an Elder God. Perhaps an 'Ascendant God', to tie in with the game's subtitle.

Isune recharged the Nature Seal. smile.gif We saw how well an Elder God did that without going poof.

I'm afraid your statement is very, very wrong.

It would require for him to be liked in the first place. halo.gif

my guess would be that you would have to be a vernal god in the first place. And once you recharged the seals all nexuses will be empty and the vernal will be mortal again having given up his divine powers to aid mankind. or the vernal will implode and a few days later a new elder god conveniently appears.

I like Visaeris. sad.gif

We need all furrikin to dissapear as Furrikini (or whatever his name was) un-splinters and recharges the chaos seal. Seriously.

I'd rather have Tae come back. wub.gif

I think you mean Bollikin... and I don't see that happening. Whether you like it or not the races are here to stay, just like you won't see Meridian or Trillillial, Dracnoris or Loboshi - or any of the various Elder Gods that splintered returning and reclaiming the shattered shards of their essence. (Even if we love Trillillial!)

Sure, Vernal Gods may ascend who are in a technical sense the descendants of this god or that goddess, but those original Elder Gods made the ultimate sacrifice in giving birth to the mortal races. But by the same token, the potential for a mortal to ascend to divinity is also their ultimate gift.

The Gods will live on as long as the mortal races do, if only in essence and in spirit.

Careful you might raise someone who will bring doom into the basin ninja.gif
Bau2005-09-16 09:19:53
I think Annabelle could probably do a good job of dooming us.
Nymerya2005-09-16 10:02:22
Someone suggested I could probably give it a good go -nagging- him to death...

Looks like Narsrim and Tully are neck and neck for the top spot (Other doesn't count since it's a lot of different people).

Actually, I could see a Vernal God having a mortal familiar. Maybe furrikin or tae dae could become their familiars.

Munsia could become Narsrim's familiar. happy.gif

What none of you are understanding is that mortals are just an unlimited supply of "seal batteries". The seals go empty, but by the time they do, the mortals will have raised another Vernal or two. So then the Elders step in, and place the new batteries into the seal and voila, the realm is saved for another few centuries.

I have to admit it's a brilliant plan, cudos to Roark for thinking it up and coming up with the great idea of us all pretending to go into the void so mortals would start making their own batteries.
Unknown2005-09-20 20:30:48
Soooo. If we raise say 100 Vernals then we can put the Elders in the seals.
Jack2005-09-20 20:32:49
Seems to me like the Ephemerals are bigger than Vernals, but smaller than Elders.. so would they fit?
