Murphy hit a total of 16 times. 8 out of the 16 gave stun. Given that a combo is two strikes, that means that he is capable of dealing stun on average every combo.

I would really like to hear some comments from Roark and whoever else deals with Knights because this is just stupid. Why should every f-ing combo (or close to it) give stun?

And what is the deal with crush/lunge anyways? I hear all this complaining about shielding, rebounding, stancing, parrying. It isn't hard to regen the power when your target is being stunned every attack to continually do it till they die.

I realize this isn't time stamped so it may be a little hard to tell, but I honest to god could do nothing. I just in awe because I had about a second here and there to do something because the rest of the time, I was stunned.

And ignore that fact that I didn't cure broken nose and for some reason eat faeleaf after being stunned... I gotta look into that. That brings to light a good question, however, how do you break a nose that is already broken?

Firstly, i'm the absolute extreme of wounding.

secondly, I have timers set up so i know when you can be stunned again, and as a faeling i always keep one arm free when i'm doing my offence stun combos for the bashbrain.

If you are trying to tell me that it is anything other than absurd that you can deal stun on average every combo then you really have place in this thread.

check the logs nars, they were mainly crushes, and when i ran out of power i had you EASY on the knockdown smitedown, you don't stance properly, you don't heal limbs properly.

Find it odd that I'm agreeing with Narsrim here, but breaknose should not stun. Other than that though, seems that Narsrim could have done a better job at offense as well as defense.

Stance properly? You can still knockdown when stancing legs. It isn't as if it stops it. Furthermore, you seem to be negating the fact that you can DEAL STUN EVERY COMBO. There is no reason. Absolutely no reason that should be possible.

I could definately have done better. That's evident. However like I said, I just in awe as it seemed like no matter what, I was getting stunned. For once, we do agree. Break nose shouldn't give stun.

I mean seriously, I think it is starting to degrade combat in Lusternia. I have no idea who is on this "stun kick" but there should be action taken to reduce stun attacks across the board not make it a possibly every combo.

trans combat, stance legs and then parry properly, yo'uve spent all your effort on your offence, without spending time in getting your parry stance limbheal system perfect.

First, shield stun has a stun time that is based on strength. Thus, your shield stun wouldn't be that long. However, stun delivered by afflictions like broken nose is always the same for everyone. Furthermore, shield stun doesn't give afflictions. It doesn't give wounds.

My only objection Murphy is that you can potentially deal stun every combo. I think that's just wrong.

I have to agree on both points. Narsrim's healing was not perfect (Who really has perfect healing when continually stunned though). Also, being able to pretty much give stun, damage, an affliction or knockdown every combo on average is absurd.

just like you can drain mana as fast as you do. Breaknose shouldn't stun, i agree with that. which abilities do YOU think should change? knockdown is fine and crucial to my offence, the ribs one, i only use it on accident.

Breaknose should do something else than stun, we just nerfed blackout cause it was unfair.

In fact, breaknose is the only thing that is dodgy.

Hmm, actually the problem may not be breaknose. Since breakchest also stunned and I don't remember either of those afflictions stunning before. It might need to be looked into. The only stunning wound of BC should be knockdown.

I think the point Murphy is stating is that:

1. The stunning IS overdone on a few of the skills and

2. Narsrim needs work on defense

In equal fronts: Even though it is overdone, that system still needs work, and even though that system needs work, that stun is still overdone.
