Trill v. Shadowcaster Faeling

I'm trying to slowly convert Kaar into a combat-capable Blacktalon. Assuming I plan on using Runes as my tertiary, should I reincarnate to faeling or trill? Note that I plan on doing one or the other, and not remain as elfen, though I provide elfen stats for reference.

Current Stats:

11 Strength
14 Dexterity
11 Constitution
15 Intelligence
15 Charisma
11 Size

Have a racial language, Elfen.
Level 1 Regenerate health and mana while in forest environments.
Level 1 Resistance to psychic damage.
Level 1 Faster herb balance

Trill:

12 Strength
14 Dexterity
11 Constitution
14 Intelligence
13 Charisma
10 Size

Can fly.
Level 2 Regenerate health and mana while flying.
Level 3 Resistance to cold.
Level 2 Resistance to electricity.
Level 2 Resistance to psychic damage.
%
Level 1 Susceptible to fire.

Shadowcaster Faeling:

7 Strength
15 Dexterity
10 Constitution
16 Intelligence
16 Charisma
5 Size

Shares Elfen racial language.
Can FLY.
Level 2 Regenerate health and mana while in forest environments.
Level 3 Recover balance more quickly.
Level 1 Faster herb balance
Level 1 Heal faster from elixirs.

Which should I choose, and what effect would it have on the kind of combat style I would have to use?

Trill suck.

The end.

Shadowcaster Faelings aren't really Faelings. halo.gif

But they are darn good stat-wise.
Ceren2005-09-16 03:21:52
You plan on using Runes? This isn't even a discussion. Faeling.
Thorgal2005-09-16 06:28:24
There's no reason to be trill other than roleplay.
Saran2005-09-16 06:30:46
Well... unless Tully succeeds at hallifax

Hmmm. They have cold resistance! Aqua staves.

Still right though.

faelings can fly
Nayl2005-09-16 06:56:26
The point in me quoting Thorgal, was to point out his reasoning.
But thanks for trying wink.gif

Buddy, you missed the whole Hallifax run.

Its been tried a LOT harder than what tully's doing.
(Sorry tully!)
Unknown2005-09-17 02:23:08
I don't think the player behind Tully is making a serious attempt. Just fostering a bit of good ol' fashioned roleplay, do ye ken?
Unknown2005-09-17 03:14:38
I may not be trying to "bring Hallifax back"--read my news posts--but IC I'm seriously trying to experiment with analyzing the forces around that.

Yeah, it's "roleplay", but I don't dismiss it as being insignificant.

Worst case scenario, we players have a bit of fun with our rituals and experiments. Best case scenario, the admins decide to unleash a plot based on it or something, or at least react to it.

*imagines tully getting on the bad side of the Divine*
hehehe

I've had some interaction with the Divine.

Most notable--Viravain cut my head off.
