Asarnil, please learn a bit of reading comprehension. My point is that if one is not whoring, then there is no way the other can be whoring. Instead of blindly coming to defend or attack someone, I suggest you slow down and take time to actually understand the point being made.

So the general trend here is. Ceres uses a skill to kill someone, that costs considerable power and setup and is whoring it and this make her a bad fighter. Murphy rapid taps a crush head macro that goes through most defenses and the only setup is F1 = Crush @target head, and he is not whoring a skill and this makes him a superior fighter.

Riiight... Personally I think Murphy is a good fighter. However, there is a bit to much hypocrasy going on here. At least Geb sees it too, so I have hope for some people.

I barely even use Inquisition anymore.

The main point to most of this arguing was that, a good Knight can kill using his main skillset and not soley rely on a godly powerful skill to win every fight against average fighters. Ixion, Murphy, Daevos, Alger and others can kill using soley their main skillset of BC/BM/etc against most others. It was stated that Ceres was good at the time, even far better than me, yet I never had to rely on Inquisition and I killed people she ran from and died to. I'm not trying to say Ceres was crap as a Paladin, but I can't give credit for being a top fighter for using the same trick over and over to kill lesser fighters.

Using one skill-set does not prove a person is a great fighter. If the person can kill nearly anyone with the use of 8 power (4 lunge like attacks), how does that make the person a good fighters because he only used his main skill-set? Like you said about inquisition, any monkey can also use a lunge alias to bypass most of the defenses of the target he or she is fighting.

If using inquisition is easy, than using lunge like abilities to kill must be just as easy.

Be glad you have ways to whore a skill and actually kill people doing so...

Good point on the lunge, though I never used Crush as a BC, only rarely since I didn't have a macro/aliases for it. Half the fun I found in being a knight was getting past another persons parry/stance/rebounding.

Other than lunge though, unless you have some good skill, you won't beable to kill anyone who can heal even half-decent.

True, but my point was just centered on the claim that killing with the main skill-set proved a person was a great fighter. All I was showing was an example that disproves that claim.

I used to like Ceres and though she had a great deal of potential, it's just with her being so well known for jumping link-dead or afk fighters to get her biggest kills, it's hard to have respect for anyone like that.

Well using a wide variety of skills is the more smart thing to do, and probably marks a more swift fighter; managing to kill with one skillset is admirable. I think this thread has basically degraded into mainly insults and ego boosts, which is too bad. Also Kashim I know how you feel, having damn near every little bit of our offense nerfed every envoy to the point where I am truly out of real valid tactics on a smart, or good curing oppenent. I am working on some ideas for the next envoy, regardless of how far it is away.

It's been few pages of bragging and "You suck", "No, you suck" in here, and I find it sad that people complain that they can kill someone by mashing one macro, that's all.

i use my 8 power to get someones head to where i need it. there are various ways to defend against this, people need to develop new tactics to get around it, rather than just die then bitch here about it

Mainly you, but a few others as well, need to get the barbed flails out of your asses.
