There comes a time in all of our lives where we are forced to take a step back and examine our own inner perceptions of reality and our dreams. With recent happenings in my life, I've been forced to make this move rather suddenly and rather quickly. Plato called this the act of "maturing in spirit and body". Maya Angelou called this the "call of the future". Whichever it may be, it has made my life a bit more difficult than I had planned; so for now, I will be taking my leave of both Lusternia and Imperian, which are both products of Iron Realm Entertainment.
To Suhnaye, you've been a blessing, love, in so many more ways than I could possibly point out. I would have never met you had I not come to Lusternia from Imperian, had I not left Anillya Ashtear in Imperian and come to create Marina Whytetower in Lusternia. You know I love you, both in character and out of character. You are the sweetest, kindest, gentlest, and the most caring man I've ever met. Gods, hun. All I can say is I love you. Truly, I do.
Gwynevere, girl, we have had our fights and our tears, nights where we both stayed up well into the dawn laughing our butts off about men, sex, politics, and even a bit of religion here and there. I really believe I've gained a friend in you. I watched your character grow from a young girl into a proud and reponsible woman who is the apple of Marina's eye. I'm proud of you both.
Deas, you're a total nut case and possibly one of the funniest people I've ever met, Imperian and Lusternia combined. Thank you for always cheering me up and thank you for always being there when I needed someone to scream my head off to. And thank you for understanding.
Lacostian, we've had our bouts and our issues with one another, but through it all, we came through in character. You play one of the best dieties I've ever had the blessing to meet. Wise, mature, and always enigmatic; beautiful is the only way I can describe your role play. Breath takingly beautiful. Thank you for letting me be a part of it.
Alnra, Elaria, Yoninah, Jazlyn, Asmodea, and the rest of the PoN members; thank you for role playing with me. If it weren't for you, our organization would not have existed. I'll be leaving it open and hope that the Divine may use it in some sort of story line or plot line. You've all been a blessing to this game, and I hope you all carry on and do your best. Make something for your characters and build them. You're all excellent role players, and you've all got great potential to be some of the up coming writers for eager American readers.
Lisaera, even though we've both bashed heads like a couple of stubborn old hags, I admire your character and the way you role play her. Thank you for role playing with Lusternia. You not only make this a rich and awesome experience, but you also made me smile a few times and grumble a few others.
Estarra, thank you. I can't describe how hungry and how thirsty I was for a new place to begin a character from scratch. Imperian was becoming dull and drab. Ever since I role played in Avalonrpg.com and left due to the 25.00 a month fee, I have been searching for a place similar. A place where mystery and magic were abundant, as well as secrets of beautifully written gods and curious thoughts were the main recipe. You've got a great place here, Estarra. I hope to some day come back to it and find it growing more and more into a story well suited for novel.
Ishimoru and Ichiro, you both gave me a few heart attacks, and I'm sure I've gotten a few grey hairs from both of your antics. But let me assure you, I wouldn't have had it any other way. Marina has always been proud to call you her sons. And I am proud to be able to call you both my friends. Thanks you two.
Nyla, keep growing hun. You're one of the most beautiful people I've ever had to the luck to come in contact with. A mind full of mystery and imagination and the will to put it into practice is something you don't find very often these days. I look forward to seeing your first novel in a nearby bookstore sometime soon.
Bau, hun, you're a beautiful woman. Charming and sweet, you're one of the people I've laughed and cried the most with. Marina could not have become the woman she is at this moment without your character's influence. I thank the RPG gods, whoever they may be, for letting you come to Lusternia and meet Marina in your old shop. We had some fun times, hun. Take care of yourself.
Viravain, you're an odd ball, my dear. And I loved your role playing of it every second. Keep up the awesome work, girl. I hope to some day come back and have you taking over the world. Just leave Lacostian be.
The rest of you, well, some of you I know and some of you I don't. I hope your characters flourish as well as your own lives. Be good to yourselves.
Well, so much for good byes. So how about just one small, "I'll see you later." Good byes are meant for forever; farewells are just saying, "Someday, I'll say hello again."
Love,
'Chelle
