Oh, and i'm in my originall guild, the Geomancers. I started geo, went shadowdancer, then went geo again.
Vesar2005-09-17 15:34:57
Yes.
Kaervas2005-09-17 15:39:02
Started as a Nihilist, after a while went Geo and I'll be staying there for the forseeable future.
Vix2005-09-17 16:33:21
I think Yuniko's been in all four orgs now also.

I'm too lazy to go look up who exactly said it, but I'm like the person who said earlier on this threat that when they want to try a new guild, they go make an alt.
Guildhopping doesn't fit the RP of most of my characters, and the ones it does I've mostly suicided.

I always saw sticking to only one guild or class as a grave insult to the coders, since you only show interest in a tiny aspect of their work, leaving no care for the rest of it.
Shamarah2005-09-17 21:23:02
Maybe we just like the guild we're in and don't want to have to deal with the lesson loss from changing?

Pfft, you can think of better excuses then that.

Hey, if you needed a reply that both acted in your defence and offended others, could you seriously have come up with a better one?
Unknown2005-09-17 21:51:24
I don't really mind guildhoppers that much...
My philosphy on that is a guild is like a public camp site, leave it nicer than when you found it

I've always been a gypsy, teaches you a lot, but costs many lessons.
Marsu2005-09-17 22:48:14
Yes, of course I am still in my first guild.
Well, ok maybe not.

You know, that's almost as bad as Soll posting the same.
Ashteru2005-09-17 22:50:39
They are all just envious over the experiences our characters gained while switching between all those guilds.
Veonira2005-09-17 23:01:36
Yes. Still in my same position too.
Ixion2005-09-17 23:03:43
Ur'Guard since open beta (before even Murphy's old ass!), however I classify the Ur'Guard into two separate guilds- pre and post chaotic.
Asarnil2005-09-17 23:43:43
How do you classify that?
Kaileigh2005-09-18 00:13:28
From an Ic Point of view I wonder why the guilds let the guild hoppers into their guilds/cities if they are almost certain to change. I know I had a crazy guildhopper on Achaea (because I hated most of the guilds) And after the like.. 4th or 5th one it was hard to get into any more. I don't think "Well he fights good and we need him" is really a good excuse to accept them.
As a character I find it traumatic to be fighting against a person *coughmarsucough* Then have him ressurect me *coughmarsucough* Then have him killing me again in the span of game year. Because of that Kaileigh really has personal issues with him (whether he knows it or not. )
Those types of characters seem only loyal to themselves because their characters want the "leet power" or whatever excuses they might thorw out

The year 105 CE, roughly- Morslade was inactive and the guild split from the Tsai/Valek nonsense.

Magnagora needs to have a civil war. It came damn close during the tainted Fae thing, didn't it? That would be pretty cool.
The Ur'guard could take the south side of the city and the Geomancers the north, with the Nihilists split between them. Wouldn't that be bitchin'? Groups raiding into the Necropolis to gain control of the Megalith, Geomancers sealing off all of the gates, Nihilists on either side summoning armies of demons to strike at the opponent... pretty frickin' schweet, letz do it!
