Getting your Groove back...

Back to Common Grounds.

Well... I am back now, finally, atleast for about 5 hours... after being gone so long (not by choice, did not have internet),I am finding it ALOT harder than I thought to get back in the groove of my character. Still reading the 400 or so news posts I am now behind on... any tips for getting back into the swing of things?

I usually just ask on GT if anything major has happened in the past year or so, skim the news posts, check for any new ghelp and chelp files, greet any friends who might be on, then go back to bashing things if there's nothing big going on at the moment.

I'm actually reading-every- news post since I left, almost gone. Seems EVERYTHING about the guild has changed since I left, including the old testing system. All in all, I'm glad to be back! But... what is with Celest... it is so quiet and empty-like now, just a downtime? Or has something catastrophic happened to my homeland while I was away? Anyone care to fill me in a bit more than the news?

Celest = God hates them.

That easy. Only one village after several IG years without any, several fighters lost or left, and so on and so on.

Join Mag or Glom. deal.gif

Just finished 5 ooc months of news, and now to work on the ghelp and chelp scrolls...
And it appears my time in this library is up... and I was only just starting to really understand again! :sob:
I've been in Celest pretty much since I started... Yila is -supposed- to go to Glom...but...I'm scared of what would happen to her there.
And WHY go to Mag or Glom Ash? Give me some... reason or incentive or atleast a please? wub.gif

Ooh, ooh, go to Glomdoring because Josun's there!
Jack2005-09-17 17:37:40
Go to Magnagora because we have the most OMGWTFLOL overpowered skills!

I mean, can you argue with cosmicfire and demonspawn?

Hehe, I was pretty much joking. It's really your decision and RP that should determine where you stay. For Example Simimi always was a pretty fanatic follower of the light. You might be able to join Magnagora 'cause you were brainwashed or something, but I couldn't see Sim in any forests.

Roark can reanimate my skeleton and make me the order's official undead chef.
Ashteru2005-09-17 18:08:58
I can imagine. Everytime you cook something, we'll find 'sweet' surprises in the meals, huh?

Indeed. And on that same vein of thought, I find that if I'm in a slump, betraying someone always gets my juices flowing. *Nod*

The Flagg Family - betraying random organizations since 101 CoE.
Ashteru2005-09-17 18:52:48
Hey, I am not a Flagg. unsure.gif *shudder*

Oh well, at least I don't run around betraying every organization I ever was in.
